Considering my internet tends to be down during the day, I've had to resort to some other measures for entertainment.
...namely programming. I'm rewriting my game, because my old code is really messy and crappy and it looks ugly to me. ____________________ |

Another thing you can do is lubricate it. Some fans need lubrication every now and again. ____________________ |

I just use the default Luna theme. Not because I like it, but because I'm used to it. ____________________ |

I saw everyone putting fancy username pics in their sig, so I decided to be trendy too.
It's my username with a drop shadow and the marching-ants effect thingy going around it. I like the marching-ants effect when it's used in pixel art and games and stuff. ____________________ |

The author of this game goes to GMU, and is part of the Game Analysis and Design Interest Group there, which I've been wanting to join. (fun fact: I go to GMU too)
Anyway, yeah, that's just a small tidbit of info I know about. As for the game, pong's not really a game I enjoy playing, so I haven't tried it out, but from videos and what I hear, it looks pretty spiffy. ____________________ |

I'd imagine the idea is to disassemble the game manually, first to separate code from data, and second, to get a better understanding of what each routine does. Also, I think the goal here is to end up with something similar to the sonic community, in that with their complete disassemblies of the sonic games, they can add code and objects and such more easily, and then compile it into a complete rom again. ____________________ |

Originally, I think Sliver-X originally was owner of panicus, but he left the rom-hacking scene forever, never to come back ever, because he wanted to start a new life since he was moving to a new state (but *SURPRISE* he came back to the scene).
But anyway, after Sliver-X quit, Olaf became the new owner. He's a shady guy who probably never should be owner of any internet-based anythings in my opinion. I mean, I don't remember when "must be a highschool-dropout who lights up/does drugs all the time" became a requirement for webhosts , but if you look at Acmlmboard history, we've had plenty of them. Sure, maybe they didn't do drugs or anything like that, but they SURELY weren't the best host admins for various reasons. Anyway, Olaf took the site down. I don't really need to comment on that log, it truely speaks for itself. This doesn't mean panicus is gone forever, if someone wants to take it over, it can come back. I don't know if the site itself can be salvaged, because typically when people get pissed off and take down sites, they don't save an archive in case someone else wants to take over. Anyway, that's what happened. Sorry if I sound a little harsh, but I'm in one of those "speak your mind" moods right now. ____________________ |

Youtube has some major problems going on... for example, I can't download any videos from any of the "lax" servers.
But yeah, good job getting that WiiKey to work. And I think Xk's responsible for "WiiWiiKey". ____________________ |

Posted by Darkdata It probably would be a little less dull if you changed the icon spacing to fit that grid. ____________________ |

We used to have Kirbynite's oekaki board thing, but I think it went down.
I've tried doing pixelart with the applets, I don't really like it that much. ____________________ |

I'm not surprised, from what I've read, that game is incredibly gory. GTA was already on the edge, and this game just happened to take it too far. More Jack Thompson bait if you ask me.
Anyway, God of War is different because it's fantasy. Completely fictional without much linking it to reality. However, manhunt (apparently) contains extremely realistic realism. Either way, I wouldn't buy this game anyway. ____________________ |

You will need this program to extend the rom, or else it won't open in TT.
There we go, a little bit of preparation. ____________________ |

The first glitch I see is when you right-click in the 'move camera' grid a lot, the program crashes.
Also, the listbox on the left that lists all the objects is misaligned. (half of the topmost item is obscured by the "3d objects" bar, and when something's highlighted, half of the selected item, and half of the next item is highlighted) ____________________ |

Posted by Mystery Gourmet I actually have a name for this phoenomenon. "The GPL Effect". Basically, back when GPH wasn't complying with the Linux GPL, it got slashdotted, and a fuckton of people who don't know anything about the system, or the company, or the situation, nor care, started attacking GPH for the sake of blindly sticking up for GPL. That's kinda what we're doing, I think. We're annoyed that a game got censored, nevermind the fact we'd never play it. I don't know why we're annoyed with it, because it sounds like a game that has a stupidly large amount of gore in it for the sake of being edgy. I remember playing GTA. I didn't really care for it. Now I've seen a few people I know play the newer GTAs, saying they're awesome, and uhh... no they're not. It's just some guy stealing cars and getting the cops after him. It's no different from the first 5 games. Oh you can shoot prostitutes whoopee. I dunno, people these days like violence and gore and stuff because I guess like Valcion said, it makes them feel like hardcore badasses for playing the game. It like all those idiots on facebook that want the audio applications to autostart. Why? So you can shove your song down everyone's throats? What satisfaction do you get from that? "I want everyone to know that I listen to this song! It makes me feel cool!" Same thing. ____________________ |

Not bad, but a lot of those images are too blurry to see anything .

The arrow points to the item that's selected, and the list is at the top, but the first item gets obscured. And the right click crash is an os crash, and not a script error, and I'm using Windows XP Media Center. ____________________ |

If the experiment is Tina not reporting who's posting, I don't really like it that much.
If that's not the experiment... then I guess I'll just have to wait and see. ____________________ |
