Hahahaha

That's hilarious! At least you have a way to cool your room down, at least.

Yeah, the reason I thought it was funny was that he had to stack stuff up to the window, because he can't put the fan in the window itself, coupled with the thread title.

Other than that, a fan in the window isn't really all that new to me. We have a beach house in NJ that we go to in the summers, and it's old, so there isn't any air conditioning. Nowadays, we have a window AC unit in every bedroom, and the dining room (which doesn't have any walls seperating it from the main living room, so the air goes into there too). But before all of that, we used the simple place-a-box-fan-in-the-window technique. I think two of the units were actual window-fans, designed for such use, but it was mostly just box fans.

The first time, I made it to the boss of the flipside pit, and then on my third time attacking, I died because I got shot. (people who've made it to the boss will know what I'm talking about) I had about 720000 (or however many 0s there were) points, I don't remember what level that equates to, but I lost all of the progress anyway.

The second time, I beat it just fine, but I think that's because I played through half of the pit right after my defeat, and leveled up a bit, so I was at higher levels the second time I attepted the pit. I really like the reward, it's so convenient.

I've placed the final pure heart, but I don't want to beat the game just yet, so I'm just doing stuff. I'm currently trying to beat the flopside pit for the first time, but I stopped half way through (levelling up again).

At college, my sleeping pattern usually is somewhere along the lines of 2am-9am.

At home, it varies, but I'm always awake by 1:30 pm.

It seems that the newest trend nowadays is having high-quality (sometimes lossless) full-length episodes of entire seasons/series (the whole thing sometimes) videos of movies and tv shows. My proposition would be to move all of that huge stuff onto super-huge hard drives, and keep your normal hard drives for games, art, work, etc.

I missed that Supergun was a legit person, even then. Supergun never recieved anything. So he's out 1,400 anyhow and now teh "NES prototype" which probably should of been a "Famicom prototype" is lost forever in the mail. Or it never existed.

And what evidence do you have that backs that statement up?

Wow, that really is a bummer there, especially when considering how much money essentially got wasted in the process. Can you retract your vacation time, or is it set in stone? That really sucks if that's the only vacation time you can have per year or something.

Do you have any plans to try again at some future time?

Since when did we need evidence to prove if the Zelda 3 proto is real or not? Okibi doesn't need any.

You're accusing him of not giving Supergun a cart, and you're making these accusations based on nothing at all. This is HARDLY the same thing.

Umm... tons of NES/FC prototypes were put on NES carts. Just because a prototype isn't in the Japanese style cart doesn't mean it's automatically fake. For example, look at the MAJORITY of the games in this list.

As for Murray's quote, he "heard" that Supergun didn't get the cart. "Heard" isn't proof of anything. It's only speculation/rumors/more assumptions. There is still NO PROOF that Supergun never received the cartridge that Okibi says he sent him.

There's a huge logical fallacy here at play...

Everyone who has tried to state this accusation have done nothing but quote other people who said the same thing, but nobody anywhere has any proof. So everyone is using statements that have no proof as proof. The only thing in that thread that I could find was the guy who said "oh, Okibi ripped off one of my friends", but there is still no proof anywhere.

My main intention here was to help stop people from harassing Okibi over false information. I obviously won't be able to stop everyone, so I don't really worry that much. Besides, arguing over the internet doesn't really do anything. I just don't want him to get the wrong idea about us, that's all. If we're actually *nice* to him when everyone else is being aggressive, he might remember it.

In VA, it's about the cheapest gas around, last I heard. Then again, that was about a year ago.

Ever since I came to college, I haven't used my car. I didn't even bring it here with me. I just walk everywhere. Though, it helps that a lot of the major places I need to go (food, groceries (as in drinks that I keep in my fridge), classes, etc) are within a very decent walking distance from each other, and from my dorm (and even the dorm I'll be in next year).

However, lately, a few of my floormates and I have been taking these hikes up to the "University Mall" (basically a shopping center which is JUST outside campus, but it has McDonalds, Dominos, some kind of "grille" place, Giant (as in the grocery store), etc) to eat McDonalds (because on-campus Burger King *SUCKS*, and Damons has much better cheeseburgers, but is more expensive), and go to Giant.

For example, we went there today, and I bought a 6 pack of 20 fl oz bottles of A&W rootbeer (about 3.5 liters), where at the convenience store on campus, to get that amount of soda would cost more. I also got a huge 1.75L bottle of orange juice, where the convenience store never carries any drinks that large.

Erm, anyway, the point of that is even though it's a long walk, we still go there. Good exercise (especially carrying stuff back to the dorms ). Nope, haven't needed my car here yet. I'd only need it to go back home, since I live (theoretically) 20 minutes away, and I don't do that often.

If it counts towards anything, all of the service vehicles here on campus use environmentally friendly fuel. I can't remember if it's hybrid, or if it's corn fuel (or whatever it is), but I know it's definately not the normal stuff.

Nice job! I use Paintshop Pro, which has OK vector stuff (lot less painfully annoying than flash ), but I think for vector stuff, I should try out freehand or something.

How did you do the highlighting and shadowing?
