I use adblock, webdeveloper, and customizeable toolbar buttons.

To download flvs, I have two bookmarklets. One is for getvid, and the other's for videodownloader. I mainly use getvid, but that likes to go down, so I have videodownloader as a backup.

That face is just so damn awesome, and I have no idea why.

And yeah, you guys are REALLY making me want to make some kind of Acmlm Kart java applet or something.

Edit: or C++ game or something, doesn't matter.

I can only find version 82.2, which isn't on his site, but it's on one of those other VB sites, and I can't even get that version to run at all. 82.1 didn't have sound, and 82.2's changelog doesn't say anything about sound being added or anything.

In the original email, he said that the image (with the Hylian in it) contains a question, a hint and "something else".

Just in case you guys skipped over it.

Edit: And for reference, this is the image.

These two items (the image and my quote to myself) pretty much make up step 5's email.

Edit: I just examined the image in a hex editor, but there's nothing notable. (Other than that the image was created with The Gimp )

Edit: I also examined the source code of the email, and again, nothing notable. Just your average plain text email with image attachment.

However, maybe my answer has something to do with this step? It conveniently appears under Okibi's email, since it's a reply.

I basically just said "I am Error" is a quote which just informs the player of this person's name, because later on, someone tells you to go talk to Error about something.

And then I said that the picture was Princess Zelda from Minish Cap. The shield she's holding is a shield she won in a contest. She gives the shield to Link, and it becomes the sheild you use during the first part of the game.

1444. The word "remicant". It means absolutely nothing (came to me in a dream), but it sounds like a real word.

That happened to me too. Mine was "Arcadon", and it was some kind of chess-ish game, but it wasn't chess at all, it only had pieces that looked like chess. Or maybe it was a chocolate candy, I'm not sure. They both were present when someone referred to one of them as "Arcadon".

Anyway

1452. Not being able to have a good number because you just want to comment on something.

Who did?

I don't like ships because they're SLOW. I never want to have them travel over long distances. Too much of a minimum profit risk.

Also, I was the proud owner of the superforest (>2000 tonnes of wood/month) this time. I was a little afraid to mention it since I thought someone would steal it.

And that superfactory ruled!

Drag> Question
Drag> Someone just threw away a dominos pizza box with half of a pepperoni pizza in it
Drag> Should I take it?
DahrkDaiz> i sit in the trash?
DahrkDaiz> is it*
Tanks> XD

Yeah, I went to go throw something away, and I noticed a dominos pizza box in the trash can, on top of all the trash, with half of an entire medium pepperoni pizza still in it. There was also a box of garlic bread sticks there too. The label on the box said it was ordered just two hours before I found it. There was nothing wrong with it, and the food itself wasn't touching the trash, it was inside the box, so I just took it. I ate it too, there was nothing wrong with it at all. The people around here throw away perfectly good food a lot, this isn't the first time it's happened, but it's the first time I ever actually took food from the trash. Hey, free pizza. It saves money!

Edit: I took the pizza and the garlic bread sticks, I didn't take the boxes.

I use Arial for just about everything. I'm a sans-serif guy.
When I pixel art something, I have a bunch of monospace linux console fonts I use of varying sizes, so I either use that or I'll hand draw the font myself.

Oh. My bad, sorry.
But nonetheless, sound isn't anything you should have VB for. I mean, the musics in just about all VB games suck horribly.

Yeah, I know, but there's still some music I remember hearing that I'd like to hear again.

That and the lack of sound effects is a little weird.

That's just me though, sound makes a difference for me.

I tend to prefer proportional fonts over monospace in most cases, as the latter tend to be ugly. Monospace does have its uses, and I usually use it for programming, but some people seem to have such an aversion to seing any code in a proportional font that they even switch fonts in the middle of a sentence like "The printf function is used to display things on the screen in C." Sheesh. The word "printf" won't suddenly become unintelligible if written in proportional text along with the rest of the sentence.

The most important thing for me, font-wise, is that I, l, and 1 are all distinct. Arial is no good because I and l look identical, for instance.

Typically, code is in monospace typeface to indicate that it's code, and not some wacky typo.
It's kinda like how you have to italicize non-English words in literature, like: "That certainly is non sequitur right there!"

Uh oh! I don't know if this is a hint or what, but...

I sent Okibi an email, in an attempt to get moving. Pretty much, I linked step 4 and 5 together like this:

Error knows more than he tells, that's why he tells you his name. He has some information you need to get later.
Zelda wins a shield in a contest.
Zelda freak knows more than he tells.

So basically I linked them together and asked if Zelda freak won something in a contest, and do we need to contact him?

Okibi replied to me, saying that if we do manage to contact ZeldaFreak, please let him know, as ZeldaFreak stole something from him, and Okibi hasn't been able to contact him in a year.

He didn't tell me my response was wrong, but he also didn't say it was correct. What do you guys think?

Edit: Also, my spam filter almost didn't let this get through to me. I'm glad I check that thing. Okibi's now on my allowed list, so his stuff won't be potentially blocked again in the future.

You can still fund them, right? If so, then you're not completely SOL here.

But yeah, if that's a bug, they should fix it.

Oh whoops, yeah, you can't fund raw industries in some games (namely our server), and THAT would be a huge problem.

This the first hand-held calculator emulator for PC which works on Wii. Use arrows to walk and climb and press A or S to jump to the left or right.

Shame they don't know it's just a port of a game.

More to the image than comes to mind?

What else could possibly be in the image?

We were able to decypher the message, which was written in Hylian. Hmm...
Does that mean that you can take Hylian messages from the games and translate them and decypher them to English too?

Apparently, old Hylian is basically a cypher for Japanese (specifically Katakana), except there are no special marks to indicate voiced syllables and such. This is used in the n64 games.

Modern Hylian is another cypher for Katakana, used in Wind Waker, but this time, there are those special marks, so you can actually cypher each Katakana syllable.
