Hello Everybody.

I'm NutheadBros. I used to be here before the board split in half. After the split I forgot about Hacking for a long time....well until recently when I started making a hack....but the hack isn't the point right now. The point is..is that I am back. I also like gaming and writing.

I have a couple of questions pertaining to SMB

1: Is it possible to turn certain levels into unique ones {1-4 and 6-4 being different from each other for example}..or is it hardcoded into the engine.

2: Is it possible to have more than 8 worlds {Like SMB2J} or would that require ASM.

What I was trying to ask in the first question is this. In SMB there are levels that are reused but with different enemy data {Common Examples are the X-4 Levels}. What I was asking is..Can Those Levels Be different from one another in a way to where they are both different. Thanks for my answers anyway.

Remember when I came... I said I was working on a hack..Well here's a Two World Demo. All the Screens were made in FCEUX 2.0.3 with a custom palette I am making for this game {Palette Not included in this demo.}

Yes I'm using the board's uploader.

Most out of the 2 Worlds were edited. 2-3 was the least edited.

You're Not going to be able to make it past 2-4. I blocked access to the Axe and Bowser.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Edit: I forgot to say patch it to a 40,976 SMB Rom. I'm not sure if it will work on a trained Rom.

To the Question pertaining to upload. I did not know I could do that.

To the Question pertaining to the Palette & Graphics. When I made these shots at the time I did not have a graphics editor. Also...I'm not very good with them.

To the Question about EONEI: EONEI means Attacked Planet Area. I was going with Planet to replace World but due to the limited amount of letters used in WORLD I needed something else. It also has to do with the hack's plot.

The Answers are this......The ? Blocks and Bricks will be replaced. As for certain Levels. I will hopefully have them fixed.....Because I have all 8 worlds done.

{I am looking for a Grpahics Designer that can help me with the Graphics......I am not very good at Graphics Designs}

I beleive it's time for a Update on how things are going.

1: Levels 1-3 and 2-3 have been improved.

2: A bug was discovered with 6-3. Do not grab the flag while on the platform. That will be fixed.

3: The hack has a Name...it's called........Super Nuthead Bros

Plot: Space.....Where an Evil Floating lair is flying above a planet. Inside we see the evil group known as...The Eonei. After being Recently Defeated by Nuthead & Crew....They needed a new plan....A cyan Turtle known as Turtleman suggest Kidnapping Nuthead's Girlfriend Rosalina. The Rest Approve it. Turtleman storms into Planet Marion.....Eonei Army with him. They manage to Break into Nuthead's House and Capture her. Nuthead coming home sees the mess and wreckage..sees a Note....

"Dear Retard"

"I have Captured your precious Rosalina.....If you want her back....Give us the SnS eggs or.....SHE WILL DIE!...Then we'll destroy the whole universe. Hahahahahahahaha"

"Signed. Turtleman & The Eonei"

"Nuthead runs out of his House.....of course Grabbing his Brother L. Nuthead on the way out. Thus their Quest to Defeat Turtleman and rescue Rosalina begins"

The Two Bowsers and The Floating Pipe was intended.

The Wierd Pipes......not so sure.....I need a verification on wheter it happens in the Normal Game.

EDIT: I need people to test the Hack on different Emulators. That Way I can fix it to where it will work on every Emulator.

I managed to partially fix 8-4's pipe bug. I don't really know about SMB pipe pointers.
Also...you are right again on SMB2 Editing...Maybe it should be a SMB3 hack instead.

I have not tried the SMB2 Editor beacause I lack an SMB2 Rom

I looked at DD's document......It kind of confused me

It seems that the Death Pipe Bug may be in other levels too. I tried fixing 1-2's Pipe Error by replacing one of the bricks with a pipe....died by plant

I tried out your theroy....you are right.....All Exiting Pipes have to be the same height.....Now all we need to do is find out which pipes need to be fixed...I know 8-4 for one
