For some reason, every time I go to My Documents or Windows Explorer, I cannot see my own files. When I hover my mouse over to the title bar, I get a loading symbol. I could wait forever and nothing changes. 
Any Ideas? |

I lose track of time during my "high". I usually go to sleep on command.
Even though my experience wasn't something one would conventionally hate, I felt awful after using that green piss-licorice flavored Nyquil. Several years ago I had a cold from hell during my Christmas break. My sister said she felt bad for me, my nose was running like a faucet. I shoved toilet paper up my nostrils (dumb idea) and took 2 spoonfuls of that gunk around 4pm. My sister said, "That's it, you need to go to bed." I slept for what felt like 30 minutes of itching my face like I had the plague or something, I was half-awake the whole time and woke up with a headache and a horrible taste in my mouth. It felt like someone shoved a rock up my nose even after I removed the toilet paper. My eyes burned since I hadn't slept well. It was already 11pm, dark and dreary outside and my sister was crashed out on the couch with MTV on the television at a low volume. I felt some irrational depression, not because my life seemed bad but because I was so sick and the hours flew by. I stayed up watching the Goonies and other things on tv. Then I went back to sleep around 3-ish. |

Asphalt Assault
-I'm actually working on this. It's like an oldschool vertical scrolling shooter with cars. Like the old Spyhunter game except it has a Strikers 1945 quality to it. Story: After an apocalyptic period in 2075, there was a worldwide decline in technology and cities were destroyed after the earth was recreated by a massive storm. A few larger cities that survived, returned and helped re-build the cities. Over a period of 100 years, civilization returned but history repeats itself. A strange cluster of crystals has been found inside a meteor probably from the recreation, that can be used in super-weapons. A corrupt government (called the Brahmin alliance) run by it's military corporations is trying to use this as a demonstration of their power over everyone and has gained access to great technologies and war machines. Political leaders commission a dangerous army from regular street thugs to zealous, power-hungry cops. They try to carry these weapons from place to place and make sure no one stands against them. Beyond that, a large weapon prototype (Samsara Type a100) has been under way for several decades and will harness the power of a majority of this ominous new element. Although it's unarmed, it is believed to have the ability to think on its own. Citizens were decieved into thinking this weapon will protect all the major cities but a few slight changes in the law arouses suspicion to the wary. You must investigate the whereabouts of this new project incognito or otherwise destroy whoever is in your way. I had 2 ideas for the mode of the game... Mode 1: 5 selectable vehicles and unlockable stories. Pretty much an Arcade shooter. Very easy to do but limits gameplay. Mode 2: Custom vehicle that can be built and modified through a money-system; locked items and editable stats which can be earned from completing missions (the required missions) and a challenge mode (the optional missions). Very good replay value but will take alot of patience to complete. I've also thought of some spin-off versions of this idea... Asphalt Assault: Higher-power -You're a new member of the Revolution alliance competing to gain rank for sport. You strive to gain authority and respect from other members but competition looks stiff. --Players may import progress from the story version which means they can use their earnings and vehicles instead of starting with a weak one. Asphalt Assault: Hotwire -Ever since the downfall of the Brahmin alliance, many who have heard of this sought their own adventure. The new global government developed new vast transportation systems allowing anyone from different continents to visit one another. The highways are getting crowded with several new faces popping in every day. You'll never know who is willing to aggress or befriend you. Your choices may change the life another adventurer, it's up to you! --It's a multiplayer version with a chatroom where players can choose a level to destroy baddies in or destroy eachother to see who has the better assault vehicle. Up to 8 players can join a game and earn ranks. |

The graphics could use some updating (no, I'm not suggesting that you use allstars graphics or the like) but I do like the overworld idea there. Not bad for a hack with the old graphics. |

I just came back from watching it and it was so dark and bizarre but pretty hardcore. These Spartans abandoning babies and whatnot made them into badass mfos in my eyes.
It was like Frank Frazetta's artwork except it was all alive. I too only noticed a few tiny scratches in the movie such as the mild but predictable punch-lines and some historic inaccuracies. Also noticed that the blood never reached the ground before disappearing into dust which was beyond unrealistic... it was cartoony. Beyond all that, I'll give it a 9.5/10... near perfect. I LOVED it. |

It could've been handled differently though... Wouldn't it be more fun to just hide from Traps instead? Just run away from him when you see him and hide?
Even if he is obsessed it wouldn't help to publicly humiliate him. I think he's probably taken alot of fire from this. I don't think Pie is under any risk of getting seduced or anything and I really don't see Traps as a threat. It's alright to tease him but hostility can really do horrible things to a person. If worse comes worse, should he do anything illegal, let the police deal with it. |
