What was logical to you as a child?
I am sorry if my old logic offends anyone but this is what I thought when I was around 4-9 years old. 1.) Clouds are fluffy because they're made of cotton candy. 2.) You must be married and kiss in order to have a baby. I don't want to kiss girls. 3.) You can only marry people who are the same color as you are otherwise you go to jail. 4.) If you ride your bike on the stripes in the parkinglot on a hot day, you'll be engulfed in flames. 5.) Hitler, Napoleon, what's the difference? They were both mean guys who wanted to rule the world. 6.) Presidents are supposed to tell everyone what to do. 7.) If you get germs in your mouth off the floor, your head will spin and you'll turn into a dinosaur. 8.) Swallowing watermelon seeds will result in an overgrowth of watermelons in your stomach and you'll rupture. 9.) If you share germs with someone, you'll get AIDs. 10.) You need lotion so your body won't turn into sand. 11.) Women can't drive cars, it's impossible because girls hate cars. 12.) If your hair is cut short, you're a boy. If you wear a dress, you're a girl. 13.) Our skeletons have screws in them so our joints will stay together and move the way they're supposed to. 14.) When I grow up, I want to be a diabetic so I can tell people what to eat. I hate it when people eat all the sprinkle donuts. 15.) You're not cool unless you like the color green, have pushpops, lunchables and pizza for lunch and like basketball. 16.) If you think hard enough, you can fly. 17.) A hundred and one (101) is the highest number in the world because that's alot of dalmatians. 18.) Whoever this Santa Clause guy is, he better leave some of those brownies for the rest of us, that bastard. 19.) When you're 10 years old, you can drive. 20.) You can make gold out of dead grass and straw. 21.) If you're fat, you're stupid. 22.) Only grown-ups can use computers. If kids try to use them, they will explode. 23.) Eating mushrooms will make you grow tall. 24.) If you have $100, you're a millionaire. 25.) My dad weighs 200lbs so he must weigh 1 ton. 26.) You're as tall as you weigh. I'm 44lbs so I'm 44 feet tall. 27.) Touching the same object as your friend while playing tag means that they're tagged. 28.) A person's rank is based on how much they weigh. The more you weigh the greater you are. I still think fat people are stupid. 29.) If you find something cute, choke it to death and bite its head off to show how much you care. 30.) The closet is my home. Get out! |

If you really want to piss off your English teacher, you should hand this essay in and say, "It took me 3 weeks to achieve perfection! You'd be a fool to deny such a masterpiece! So... how about that 100%?"
But I did read it all the way through and your argument was quite amusing. I overlooked the whole women and mens' vitamin hype before and never thought of how marketing ploys can get so inane. From what I can tell, you probably didn't get very much sleep the previous night while contemplating this mess. Well done. You earned yourself half a jug of diet vanilla apple cranberry grapefruit orange juice with ginko balboa, deoxyribonucleic acid (possibly from aborted fetuses), Vitamin b-13, soylent green and potassium sorbate. But the bad news is, it's for women! :O |

Holy crap. Everytime I fight Blaze on Mortal Kombat Armageddon! I could beat the ever-living shit out of everyone else but Blaze.
Some of the characters are Boss characters (Goro, Moloch, Onaga etc...) and are placed at the top of the ladder. All the boss characters are unaffected by grabs (R1 specials) which are essential against blocks. I notice that if I finish the ladder in less than 10 minutes, the bullshit engine is engaged. Then I spend a good 20+ minutes trying to beat the cheating AI. Not only is Blaze immune to grabs but almost all his moves consist of pop-ups, knock-downs, and this god-awful Rolling thunder move (which are unblockable) that usually kills me since he can STILL inflict pain on me while I'm passed out on the ground. What's even worse is 90% of the time, the block and parry button won't register when Blaze pulverizes me with a series of the same exact punch while my character is getting knocked the fuck out. Then when I use specials or knockdown attacks, Blaze manages to block EVERY ONE. Then I notice that when the time gets to around 24-30 minutes, Blaze's AI returns to a normal state and only THEN is my character is allowed to hit Blaze without getting blocked. By then I am so pissed I yell "YEAH! FUCK YOU! YOU CHEATING BITCH!" and flip off the television. God, what have I become!? |

Basically, why did you join or why are you still here?
I log in from time to time to check up on the latest news on SMW hacking. I don't care if some newcomer attempts to make a hack as long as it's "news". I am working on a graphics hack and intend to release it after it's completion. SMW hacks hold the highest value around here. Other than hacking, I enjoy reliving the past on familiar grounds with old and new members. I don't care about gaining a staff position because I prefer to talk to others at the same level or seek advice from those who are smarter than me. Besides, if I ever needed a power-fix, I'd play Dofus. This board is an escape from the mindblowing stupidity I witness on several other websites. |

Anyways... this has to be the best show on the Adult Swim comedy line-up ever! I recently purchased the first season DVDs and can't stop watching them. The show rocks so hard because the writer of the show, Tommy Blacha, writes and plays the songs. They also have voiceovers from Arch Enemy and Nevermore. Metalocalypse is gritty and violent much like the lyrics by Cannibal Corpse. If you like dark humor and blood, this is the right show for you. "We will make everything metal!" |

-The gritty 2-3 color ground on the curtains makes them look insanely awkward.
-The color schemes used between the foreground and the background could use some variety. -For a bloody look, you should make the bricks appear filthy to accentuate the scary theme. Try using a slightly darker shade of grey to appear as grease or moss, maybe a dark red overlay to represent blood. -The tiles could use some shading to add depth. You have some nice ideas though. All those poor mushroom retainers hanging off the ceiling. XD |

I've been slaving over my computer making graphics for almost a year now, but I've yet to start on any real hacking. For the record, I'll be more than happy to contribute some graphics. I'll post some examples of what I have so far tomorrow (since my NIC card is screwed up) and if there are any specific graphic sets we need, I can design them and show sample pics.
I did upload my gigantic spiney and buzzy beetle graphics though... 
My efforts at graphics were aimed toward a fusion between Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Bros. 3. |

Maybe the floors could contain some forks, dividing the directions of the levels, leading to multiple rooms?
I think that some enemy rooms would be nice, where Mario has to defeat all the enemies on the screen to pass. When I think of the tower, I think of the final level from Kirby's Dreamland 3(?) where there are some boss rooms. I remember that was a long and somewhat frusterating level. Just throwing that idea out there. |

I buy the sets of my favorite shows instead. Sometimes I'll get really bored and watch them, but only under those conditions.
I'm addicted to watching Metalocalypse so I purchased the first season. I also have the 8th and 9th Seasons of the Simpsons. |
