Okay, I'm running windows vista, and I want to use my Lenovo laptop to hack wireless. The problem is, I can't pickup wifi with kiswin (windows version of kismet) unless I run it as an administrator, but when I do, it just sits there, not responding, making me regret getting Vista. Can anyone help me? Thanx.

Wireless networks that are wep/wpa encrypted!
I figured this was the only place I knew of to ask such a question.

But no one will know...
Besides, it's MY wireless network, I'm just not allowed to touch the router.

I mean, touch it PHYSICALLY. I lost my WPA code because of my computer, and now I'm using someone else's open network at a 10% signal to type this. Plus, I have to sit outside on a lawn chair! And an uncomfortable on, at that!
Besides, I know you guys only do ROM HACKING, I used to do it, too. (I know ASM.) But I just wanted to see if anyone knew why KisWin isn't working.

I'm trying to use voice changer software to change my voice for a flash animation, but windows vista won't let me switch out my microphone drivers.
I want to use my built-in microphone with my voice changing drivers, but I can't seem to figure it out.vista problem

Where do you change it on here?

Still, it doesn't let me change my mic's drivers.
I really don't know why they did this to vista. I want to change drivers like you could in XP.

I can't find a program to change a male voice to a female one that works on recorded files. I've searched, but can't find it.

My friend recently caught a virus on his dell laptop. He can't go on the internet anymore, and the connection isn't receiving enough packets. He got rid of the virus, but it's happened before. Last time it took a month of trying to connect before it recovered. Is there any way to fix this? He's running windows XP SP3.

Yeah, like 78 packets received out of 200 or so sent.

No matter what he connects to, wireless or not, it says it's connected, but never actually works. And no, it's not the web browser, because he can't play Mabinogi (An online game by Nexon) either.

Well, then what is it that I need to do? It says I have my voice converter driver as a microphone, but it doesn't use the actual hardware.

It doesn't work on any networks, wired or wireless, even though it's configured correctly (Following the other people that have this problem.) I think it's a common problem with Dell laptops running Windows XP.

I'm on a non-encrypted wireless network that keeps on disconnecting/reconnecting.
Not a problem for web browsers, but I can't play online games.
(Halo and Mabinogi) but this morning it worked fine for about 2 hours! Can someone please tell me why?

I was an active member here when I was only 11 years old.
Now I'm 17, and a programmer.

I started with SMW hacking, and moved my way up to RPGMaker, then Multimedia Fusion, then Torque, until I got to developing for Wii and Irrlicht.

I remember how much of a newb I was.
Weren't we all?
