Looked through the menus and VLC doesn't seem to do it. It does it if the subtitles are in another file, but these ones are embedded in the MKV.

Avisynth seems like a lot to learn just so I can watch Kung Fu Hustle in hi-def on my big tv using my 360. >>

Well the thing with Final Fantasy XIII is this: I liked the battle system in Final Fantasy XII. It was a neat battle system and I really enjoyed running around and fighting random stuff. The environments were really awesome and it had a really good feel to the atmosphere. That being said: The story sucked. It was awful. Little was done to make the player actually care about what was happening and I just couldn't get more than a couple hours into it.

That's what I fear is going to happen in Final Fantasy XIII. And there's nothing wrong with speculating that a game won't be good before you play it. I don't think Final Fantasy XIII will hold my attention, but I'm going to rent it, give it a try and see if it proves me wrong.

So RetroRain isn't a neckbeard and neither am I.

I have a laptop with an Intel Dual Core T2330 @ 1.60 GHz for each core. I have 2 GB of ram and I have an Intel Media Accelerator 965 for my graphics. Which plugin would you recommend because everything seems to be very choppy for me.

Nebetsu: I myself use Pete's OpenGL driver 2.9, and I've never had problems outside of my own bad configuration.

I'm using ESET NOD32 and I'm pretty happy with it. Not too bulky and seems to get the job done. I always knew there was something wrong with Norton other than the massive bloat and the inferior products. I hope they go to jail or at least get sued for this. Makes me want to buy it, have my privacy rights messed with, and then sue them in one class action lawsuit.

I love EVE. I have neglected my 360 and all my other PC games just to spend countless time on this game. I highly recommend playing it because once you get through the tutorial, it's pretty awesome.
