After a short hiatus in the development of OpenPoké (I was afraid, remember?), Tony passing the project to Yoro and taking it back later, the team so far has continued working on this project. Unfortunately, it's not easy being the only one actively working on it.
Cearn has a lot of professional stuff to do (he's a number cruncher I think), and I'm glad I can always ask him for assistance on the more difficult stuff and/or heavy math. Tony's... just Tony. I have no idea what he does all the time and frankly, I don't think I want to know XD. I myself have other things to do as well. And I don't just code the game, but all the development tools as well! The team could really use somebody who can code along with me. There's a lot of things that need to be done. This has a few requirements though. You must have a considerable amount of free time. Enough to submit some usable code every week or so. In the past, I've asked a lot of people to help me with stuff, only to get one or two barely usable things from them and nothing but empty promises and excuses. That doesn't work, so please don't offer to help coding if you can see the above happen to you. The second requirement is that you must know how the original Pokémon games work. This is fairly logical. If you don't know, consider why I post this on a board best known for rom hacking  , and remember that Google is your friend, and I do research too.
The third is that you must know how to code in C on the GBA. We're using the official Nintendo SDK at the moment, but I'm waiting for Cearn to port it to DevKitPro. Not really, Hype. I have docs with damage algorithms, and personal experience that says "GBA++" is about right compared to C/C++. It's not that easy to me. Thanks anyway.

All live distros I've tried hung at startup when they tried to load the Lappy's PCMCIA. I have to use boot params to make 'em skip. And sound's off too.
