The right MissingNo is based on: 1) an MHT file of Bulbapedia's article -on- MissingNo loaded into Tile Molester in 4BPP Reversed mode 2) the left one (as a mask) 3) Pokémon Yellow's version (which is much more square) 4) The fossils from the museum (which can also be used by certain MissingNos) 5) A bikini girl's palette (how random!) Also, RetroRain: ALTTP does so have cartoony graphics. Compare it to, say... Clock Tower, which was drawn pretty damn realistically if I remember correctly. On the same system, with the same limitations.
