You don't need graphics editors to change the game's palette. Unlike PNG and such, the two are mostly unrelated.

Editing palettes on the NES is also very, very easy given a reference image with the values.

Though I have it blocked right now, I've seen Google place an ad for an actual Pokémon MMORPG on this very site where appropriate.

Every player seemed to look like Brendan. Kinda scary. The only way to distinguish eachother was by the floating names.

Noting that I base all of this on the banner ad, they could at least include some kind of recolor thing.

I highly prefer the DPP method and use an NPC sprite that's chosen somehow.

I didn't know about the Falcon Punch back then. But it was.

He doubled over, and I sat on him until we were both calm enough to use words again.

A new caretaker made a similar mistake recently. Guess who can get seperated and locked away if he punches the dude in the stomach one more time?
