That reminds me of the Tales of Phantasia intro song. Dump it to an SPC file and you get a single short bark-like noise every few beats XD

But yeah, it can so do vocals. They're just instrument samples like everything else. It's like General MIDI's Choir Aahs, but with more than just "aah".

Mega Man in Gotham. I'm planning a few things of my own for this, probably involving Pano's new toy, but besides making Rock look a little more badass I have no clear ideas so I'm open to suggestions.

I'll probably look into the music format and put in something silly like the old series' title song. The one with Adam West.

Besides, I could use some ASM hacking practice.

No idea on level data, but I found what seems like sprite assembly data blocks interspersed with the sprite tilesets. Couldn't make heads or tails of it, unfortunately.

On another note, I can't seem to find any docs on the music format in used in Mega Man 1. Without it, I can't hack in the Batman theme song. Suggestions?
