I collected Pokémon cards once, back in the beginning. Never actually played a match, though.
Even though I never felt too serious about it, one thing did give me cold shivers -- when that one movie was released, they gave away the Ancient Mew card in the cinema. I was sitting there in the lobby, trying to decode the card as I waited for the movie to start, and there were these kiddies running about and using their TCG decks as Pogs. Including those Ancient Mew cards. That part in the top right, "What are you waiting for?!", and the "Republic!" part, could go with a different color outline if you ask me.
