Well, from what I remember, the biggest problem is mixing the streams. The actual MSU1 itself is kept deliberately simple.
bsnes has the SPC-700 (audio rendering) and the audio output system as separate parts, to better match the hardware and let the Super GameBoy subsystem stream out just like the real thing: through two otherwise unused cart pins. So what you hear on a SNES is SPC output + those two pins (usually silent) = speaker signal. The MSU1, as you might know, uses those same pins, which is why it's possible in hardware without modifying the SNES itself.
So if a given SNES emulator supports SGB streams, just use that. If not, you'll have to be more creative. I heard ZSNES is mostly ASM, so there's little hope there. Snes9x on the other hand... I'd wager to say that fake HDMA could be smoother. Considering PCs and their image formats these days have an 8-bit RGB range (0 to 255 for each component), and the SNES is only 5-bits (0-63), there would be noticable banding in a given (nearly) screen-tall gradient.
If the gradient were shopped in, fifty bucks say the guy ignores this little fact and the only banding is caused by the image being stored in an indexed format. This image is in true color format, yet shows insane banding in the background gradient. That's a whole lot of confidence points right there. Could've been worse though. Okay, hear this. I have a Wacom Graphire4 (CTE-440), and have for a while now. It has worked just perfectly so far until yesterday, after a long period of not using it. There were some detection problems (it acted like a mouse, with relative movement and such for example) so I reinstalled with the latest drivers straight from Wacom.
My screen resolution is 1440x900. Dragging from the top left of the tablet surface to the bottom right, you'd expect the cursor to reach the 1440x900 point, right? 448x203. You don't need the entire SDK to load content at runtime. It can be done just fine without. Fuck if I know, heheh. Can I mark individual forums as read? Yes. You'll notice that it only says "Mark all forums read" on the index. On a specific forum, it's "Mark forum read". Do you use the normal board layout? Did you mean "theme", perhaps? How do I use math tags? Does anyone ever use them? They take TeX-style math notation, I think, not entirely unlike Mediawiki. Blackhole's the only one who uses it though. He likes math. Here's the first TeX-style example from that article I just linked. Quote my post to see how I did it.
