I'll just write it once more...

Overworld is pretty much playable. Animated tiles (flowers, water and stuff) are supported. There's a small but noticable bug in the map scroller, tall grass does not animate, the ledges act flat and several inter-map warp animations are missing.

Inventory system is missing, but the item data is there. Nearly all monster data is in, but the monster management system is also missing. This includes things like injecting experience points and stuff.

Battle system is completely missing.

I like to consider myself above trolling, so okay.

From personal experience, I dislike Pascal with a passion. It was a restrictive language in that you could do anything (seen some nice demos), but only one way. Older DOS programs cease to work completely.

When I tried out Delphi, it was much more of the same. Too vague to come up with concrete examples, but that's fine with me.

Later, I tried some classic Mac development. This reintroduced Pascal to me and though I tried to keep an open mind, it still blew.

The Jargon File agrees with me that Pascal sucks. And just for kicks, here's a part of the Wikipedia, emphasis added:

I assume that by "sending TBSTATE_CHECK" you mean "sending TB_SETSTATE with a TBSTATE_CHECK param"?

Edit: "A group is defined as a contiguous collection of buttons, all with the TBSTYLE_GROUPCHECK style."

Indeed. On my Dutch system, decimals are done with a comma instead of a period. The profiles.txt file in the archive is made on my system, so the decimals in the hair color values are done with commas. Unfortunately, American systems use periods.

Get this replacement with periods until I fix this little issue. X and I agree that multiplication/division by 10 is the best way to do this.

Depending on some mysterious circumstance, my Lappy suddenly turns off. This has been going on for months now and it seems to get worse. Many games and even some editors cause it. Leaving my computer idle overnight doesn't, but it did once. It even went out while I was using SonEd. Sometimes when I turn it back on, it barely reaches the desktop and goes out again, but that's just once.

Chief suggested it was intensive (cpu/video) stuff that did it, but Paintshop for example does not cause it. Regardless, I ran some tests on two recent victims with Process Explorer and Textpad in the background to write this:

VBA normal speed		~50%

VBA speed up		~90%

VBA + auto-update view	~60%



Kyodai 2D main menu	---

Kyodai 2D game		17% tops

Kyodai 2D game + sound	17% tops

Kyodai 3D game + sound	~30%

	+ env.mapping	~60%

	+ best mapping	went pop in a few seconds

Note: it just goes pop unexpectedly.
