Did anyone else catch the Robot Chicken Star Wars special? It was hilarious! They did reuse a couple sketches, but still super awesome.

The fact of the matter is, people can be addicted to videogames, many people are addicted to videogames, and if you think otherwise, you're just naive. Just because you don't have all that many negative repercussions as a result of your videogaming (or don't realize that you do) doesn't mean no one can. There are people that periodically drink alcohol, and drink responsibly. There are people whose lives are utterly ruined by alcohol. The same is true of any addictive substance, and videogames are no different. All addiction is a psychological illness. So don't go saying this is stupid when they are so obviously right. About damn time, I say.

The difference between alcohol and video games of course being that if you drink an extreme amount of alcohol due to addiction you could actually die from simply stopping or trying to solve the problem yourself.

It's the difference between physical and mental addiction.
