Maybe you`ve forgotten, to click the option "don`t execute the action after it happened", or so ?
I`m not a good helper, because i don`t use `event scripts` often enough. (You need much time for testing, and fixing and testing...) |

Hello, i`m begining to make a new "try file", with the aim, to create two or better 3 levels, maybe more, where you have to fight many opponents and one boss awaits you at the end of each stage. Mostly, everything works well, but my problem is, that the enemys sometimes lose their events. Sometimes they are spawning without events and sometimes it works. It seems like chaotic behavior. In the editor and free mode the events are working well.
Has anyone any idea about it, or what could it cause ? (i`m using pos, repeat/loop, limit and the standart, create commands) ... Ok, for better illustration, have a look on this pre-alpha thing: * http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=675 (nothing is balanced, much chaos, missing content, but works) I guess, that it is only a very simple mistake, but i can`t find it even out. (i`m not a good coder, my system: try and error mostly) *i removed the old ver. and displaced it by a newer variant - better, but still the same problems + some other... |

Of course, your bosses are uploaded, but in the "Boss Repository" of the new compendium, your'e not to find or linked.
Mmmh, the option "adding your creations" may help. It takes a couple of time and it looks complicated, but the instructions help. I don't know exactly, what i did, i made it and it works. After this procedure, the editor`s link button is important, to connect the marked download word with the upload. I hope this will help and good luck. |

Hey, why not ? Aye Zax, sign in and let`s try to make a quality mod. I`m curios about it. My ideas up to now, are the following: I want to make a classic like shooter with many different small enemies, mid bosses and bad ass big bosses.
(Some inspirations i get, comes from raiden 2 or dodonpachi and similar stuff - i like this direction. Bizarre new ideas are also welcome.) I invite you, to tell me your own ideas and i`m looking forward to see your current project G. Nutman i will take a look at your reflictive fighters. Thanks for your support. perhaps:
equip a very smal boss with one gigantic, moving anvil-arm, with panel aim player (no other weapons) to crash the player on the harsh way Ouch ! - not very creative, i know, but i like the thread`s headline. |

Many interesting suggestions are here.
1.) For the 8th point from Zax, i would add, it was also usefull, if fraxy would support animated gifs, without freezing them. This could bring more life into background worlds, or of course SMAL (gifs with lower quality - mmh, for cutszenes they could need to much recources) cutszenes where also possible. The possibilities especialy for try files where much interesting (animated grids, moving enemies in the background, ... ). 2.) Another, maybe old idea is, to integrate a zoom function to the editor, to make it more comfortable to use. 3.) A shield generator, which can be connected with selctive parts. Who knows battleships forever, knows, what i mean. The linked part there, is protected by the generator, effectively shown in the game - a nice feature. 4.) Sounds, - the enemy`s weapons should have implemented, own sounds. |

Hey, nice idea . This should also work on the reverse way and maybe the bitcores (or move joints in this case ?) should puzzle another new enemy together. Another kind of the multiple form idea.
To make it work with bitcores would be very great, especialy because of their fast moving behavior. (... mhh, or a combination of move joints and booster ?..) |
