I thought it was a common-sense conclusion that wxSand is inferior to Burning Sand 2. BS2's FPS is amazingly high, while wxSand is slow and laggy.

That said, wxSand modding is not even remotely difficult.

Recently, my friend, who has a sizable record collection, acquired his second pre-1930 phonograph. It's a tabletop, crank-powered Victrola which he purchased for $160 and renovated with his grandfather. I have been considering the purchase of my own tabletop Victrola for everyday use; it would, at the very least, be enjoyable to go record-shopping with him after renovating it together. Afterwards, we could sip tea while listening to classical music.

Does anyone here have any experience with phonographs of that sort? They're rather fun.

Edit: I recently became aware of a good deal involving a Victor Victrola VV-VI selling for around $300 at a nearby antique store. I am currently considering its purchase, but do not have enough money on hand at the moment. Your thoughts?

A terrible picture taken by someone while moving with a iPhone. Oh well, I'll find a better one eventually. The trophy I'm holding was received at Washington's Mu Alpha Theta competition (Theta division, 2nd place, Equations & Inequalities).

I need to improve my appearance... significantly.

<@Cirvante> >>force-feed him neodymium-iron-boron magnets
<@Cirvante> fuck you
<Xeruss> i did remember reading that once
<@Cirvante> the powdered rare earth magnets was my idea
<Xeruss> ooh that's why
<Kironide> no, that was mine
<@Cirvante> >8(
<Kironide> :(
<Xeruss> I think i was actually here for that conversation
<Kironide> I found out about the magnets from the Internet and thought after reading an article on magnet ingestion
<Kironide> "hmm, those strong magnets would make for a wonderfully horrific death if ingested in hourly intervals"

Xeruss mentioned it.

Moreover, I see no logical rationale for further cluttering the board with pointless images.

Yes, yes, most of us are tired of the generic free MMORPGs that flood the market. However! I have struggled and have been able to find one that looks rather promising: Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online. Perhaps board2 could collectively play this game; it would be rather enjoyable.

blackhole: From what I've heard, the grinding isn't bad at all; the classes are balanced and the demon system is rather innovative. Additionally, if we are to form a party, the rate at which we gain experience is greatly increased; all considered, it seems like an excellent way to waste time and have fun.

Ark: Tell me when you start playing.

I'm going to be studying calculus with my friends. .. I tend to lead a very sedentary life whenever I can, obviously, although even my dentist insists that I go outside and get more exercise whenever I can. I never really saw the enjoyment in physically exhausting myself.

My friend invited me to stay with him and his grandparents for a week, if that counts, though the prospect of not having internet access is genuinely frightening.

I'm not too sure; the dentist I saw today was rather eccentric, and also made a point of telling me to help my mother with more housework and then going on a small tirade about how beating children should be practiced more extensively in modern-day America. (Of course, I didn't get a chance to defend myself and to agree with her ..)

She was probably just trying to look out for my overall health in general, I suppose.

"Sh" is the head, and "ower" is the handle. It makes more sense if you rotate it.

Umm... I think that he was stating the fact that it might see its way into the trash or be locked I don't think that he was telling anyone that it will be locked. Generaly isin't back seat modding more of a direct approch.

Of cource what do I know about backseat modding Its not like he can take it into his own hands though.
If I understand correctly though as the post was rather difficult to understand. He was simply stating the fact that the thread May Or May Not be removed or locked. at least thats what I take on the word "possibly".
