I used to get sick CONSTANTLY when I lived with my parents out in the country. Like once every couple months. Ever since I moved here in August 2005 I haven't gotten sick once.

Wuoldn't it be better for the "Latest posts" area to ignore stickiness status? I think it'd make more sense to just have them in reverse chronological order rather than having all the posts in sticky threads listed above the others first.

Most people probably know this already, but in Super Mario Bros. 3, use the code KKKZSPIU to access the hidden debug mode. Among other things, you can hit the select button to switch between the various powerups, so you can be Hammer Mario in 1-1 if you want.

My old monitor isn't dead, but I bought a new LCD because the old one was a CRT and I had planned to use it for a new computer.

I guess it'd be more difficult to change the boob size without having to draw a new image for each one.

Yay! Did it really take the federal government?

Now is it possible for someone to fix the second archive or is it broken forever? In particular:
- Half the boards don't show up on the main page
- When you enter a forum that doesn't show up manually, you also have to change the page manually as the page numbers don't show up.
- Everything including and after the first non-ASCII character in a post doesn't show up.
- Weird word substitutions like Colin -> Colleen and Ailure -> Kitten Yiffer, etc.

Colleen is just Colin's female alter ego.. The name thing isn't a weird "word substitution", but just that several people were using alternate temporary names when the board went down\last backup was saved.

That's understandable with the redcent posts, but every post with Colin's name apparently has the substitution. There is also the case of the word "failure" to "fKitten Yiffer". In serious officer club-type threads.

I mean in the post text itself. If someone posted the phrase "Eyeball Eaters" in a post when I used that name, it didn't change to Kernal in the post text, did it?

Like if I type "pikaguy900" in this post and you change your name to "The Green Toaster" or something, the letters p, i, k, a, g, u, y, 9, 0, and 0 in my post will not magically change to reflect your new name.

Why am I always getting misunderstood here?

I'm talking about in people's posts. Not in the area to the left of the post. But in the area where you're reading these words right now. This post contains the word Colin in this sentence. If Colin's account name becomes Colleen, the preceding sentence should NOT CHANGE. Name changes do not normally include global search and replace in people's actual posts.

Well, it's distracting and kinda misleading if someone's talking about an actual Colleen. The Ailure search/replace is worse because it interferes with the word "failure" in posts too.

Fixing the second archive is definitely not a priority though, I just wanted to know if it was possible (i.e., something in the code is doing that which could be removed) or if it caused permanent and therefore irrevocable changes to the actual database.

Or just make them non-sticky if the "time" parameter is present but "id" isn't...

I tend to get really lazy when it comes to writing for a class, even though I often write for fun in my spare time. I've been known to start an essay the morning that it's due.

I have Swordquest: Waterworld for the Atari 2600. Of course, I can't figure out how the hell you're supposed to play it.

I always thought "Acmlmpedia" would've sounded better...it's generally obvious from looking at a wiki that it's a wiki, you don't need to word "wiki" in the name.
