Originals > Prequels.
The prequels had some amazing special effects and all that, but I found the story to be lacking. However, the only one I really don't like is Episode II, most of which is rather boring. And why all the hate for ROTJ? People are so repulsed by Ewoks that they automatically regard the entire movie they are in as being monumentally crappy? |

AOE2 was kinda cool, but I'm slow and use this thing called a mouse. I just can't do the lightning fast HCCCC HCCCC HCCCC or whatever the hell the hotkeys are. So I don't play multiplayer as I'd get creamed, but against the AI I find it super easy, especially when the enemies surrender after I knock down like 2 buildings anyway. The first AOE was tough and I find it to be a better challenge. |

Do you regularly see or use products from companies that nobody ever talks about?
My laptop is made by some company called "MPC". The only place I ever see MPC computers is at my university, where almost all of them are MPC. Even on huge lists of computer company names, MPC is absent. I'm starting to wonder if they only operate in a limited geographical area. I also see weird brands now that I do grocery shopping at Aldi. Stuff like Bonanza potato chips and Millville cereal. But hey, it's cheap and just as good as the big brands. My high school used to use "Acclaim" brand Kleenex...err...facial tissue, which always reminded me of Acmlm's. |

Ah, Civ 3. The game my dad has been completely addicted to since we bought it on the first day of release. I play that sometimes, I generally like the slower pace of that as compared to the AOE-type games. |

Posted by Drag I was expecting something about the Unix editor "ed", myself, or maybe the personal site of someone named Ed. |

Welcome back! *throws NSNick a cake made out of beer*
Uh, your image isn't showing up for me in the thread. When I right click and "View Image", I can see it. |

Well, you know anyone who newly registers and acts like SamuraiX will be banned on sight.
My laptop is almost dead. I'm getting a new one in August, but this one has the following problems: - Battery lasts no time and degrades quite a bit just by sitting. I can leave the laptop in my backpack for the weekend and come back to a 30% battery. - Sound doesn't work at all. - Except the system beep, which I get two of every time I boot up because the CMOS battery is dead. Then I have to either reset the date and time or live with the computer thinking it's midnight on 2002-01-01. |

Posted by mario hacker I see power. I actually did today, in the form of lightning. I've heard of an IntelliMouse driver, I think in the context of DOS gaming or some such way back in the day. |

SamuraiX was an infamous troll, flamer, spammer, etc. who posted a lot on Acmlm's II's early days. After he was banned, he registered again and again under new accounts after each one was banned. |

Well, maybe they're testing the RPG system, or practicing. |

I do know he's still doing it. I was referring to the original SamuraiX account at the beginning there, and I haven't been here in a week... |

Are you left-handed, right-handed, ambidextrous, or lefty with some things and righty with others, or you don't have hands, etc.?
I'm a righty with just about everything. I'm still clumsy, but I'm even clumsier with my left hand. |

Some others didn't mind him. I don't like trolls though, they really ruin the board experience for me. And re-regs after bans really piss me off. |

I definitely use my right thumb. I have a rubber keyboard with two space keys instead of a bar, both of which are labeled "Space". The left label is intact, whereas the right one has almost completely faded away. |

My parents had outdated computers, so I grew up with just keyboards and no mice. My dad had a very early Tandy 1000 and we also had a Commodore 64. He would write novels on his Tandy using something called WordStar, and I would often wake up in the morning to the sound of the dot-matrix printer. |

Zero Junction Blvd.?
I don't have a street view for where I live, although I know some of the intersections around here have cameras installed. |

I also used to do that all the time with Everything2. Back when I had dialup and could only surf for a few hours at a time without getting yelled at by my parents, I would sometimes start on either Everything2 or Wikipedia, with the intention of checking something else as well, but I'd end up using all my time on those sites and not be able to do the something else. |

Posted by HyperHacker But with the C0, you wouldn't be able to make another colour as you'd only have one component...I've seen some of those "flag" images put a +C0 in the corner for that reason. |

Posted by HyperHacker My current monitor is an AOC. Yesterday, amongst the normal trash on the ground, I saw a candy bar wrapper that had what looked like the Snickers logo, but it said "SATISFIES". |

Geoworks Ensemble...hmmm.
I've used a GUI called GEOS, which was for the Commodore 64 and was slow as hell if you didn't have a fast disk drive and more RAM, and expansion RAM for a Commodore was extremely rare for a long time. It was similar to early Mac systems, although more limiting as the computer wasn't designed to operate a GUI. You couldn't move windows around, multitasking was very limited , and so on. Because not too many Commodore owners had mice, GEOS was designed to work with joysticks and other game controllers as well. |
