I'm talking about the list of sites that you have saved in your browser for easy access. How do you organize them if you do?
I have four submenus of my bookmarks menu simply because I have enough bookmarks that they would otherwise be too big for the screen and scroll down. I have: - Message boards (this is the only one I post at, but I lurk at others occasionally or habitually) - School-related sites which I must access often to check grades, submit assignments, and submit my worked hours so I get paid, and also stuff like ratemyprofessors.com (which I always check when signing up for classes each semester). - Uh, fetish material. Some of it is actually HTML code for images entirely contained on my hard drive (after some sites went down, I got into the habit of saving images from as many sites as possible). - An "Other" category, where I toss links to sites I think are good or funny or want to refer back to, but don't visit habitually, so they don't clog up the rest of the list. Outside of the categories, I have my most frequently visited sites that don't fit any of the categories, including both webmail accounts, Wikipedia, a weather site, and several others. Some people are surprised that I have no search engines bookmarked, but I just use the Google bar at the upper right-hand corner of the Firefox window if I want to search the Web. The bookmarks themselves aren't really in any order except for the submenus being at the top and E-mail accounts below that. Otherwise, it's just the order I bookmarked the sites as Firefox adds new ones to the end. In IE, I only have a few online radio stations bookmarked, because that's all I ever use IE for. |

I have a lot of URLs memorized as well, but I'm lazy and would rather click on the name than type the URL (or the first few letters and hope the autocomplete has the main page and isn't just crowded with links). Also, I tend to forget URLs for boards especially. I keep asking myself "Is it board or forum? Singular or plural? A subdomain name or folder name? And what's the TLD, anyway?" and then try boards.whatever.com, board.whatever.net, forums.whatever.org, and eventually give up in disgust or try Google. |

Uh, what command were you trying to use instead of "rm"? |

I keep thinking "rn" for rename, but I know the rename command is mv (same as move)...em? tm? r,? |

No, if I did get expelled he'd probably kill me.
I take summer classes and I'm perfectly fine with them. I still get most of August off from school. I thought I would hate losing my summer vacations, but I'd rather take credits in the summer so I'm not overloaded in spring and autumn, plus I dropped two class first semester so I was six credits behind. (I've retaken the classes, which I would have surely failed the first time, and got an A- and an A the second time, but I'm still deficient credit-wise.) |

Of course, open book/notes tests tend to be harder than closed-book tests, because the teacher will jack up the difficulty to compensate and it'll take a while flipping frantically through your book and notes. Tests are deceptive like that. People think true and false tests are easy, but (unless the teacher's a moron or trying to fill a little of an exam) they're usually pretty tricky. |

If it suits your needs and is in good working order, keep it and save the money you'd spend on a new one. If it's too slow or many parts are malfunctioning, might as well buy a new one. If you like old games and have space, keep the old one too, as new computers generally have trouble playing older games.
Then again...only 4 gigs? Sure, once upon a time it was enough, but the 4GB HD I had in 2002 was painful. |

I do that stuff too sometimes. My favourite double contraction (as I refer to them) is "I'ven't" for "I have not". |

Posted by Ailure That's what I was thinking too...I would miss Anya if she left forever. Virginia is the farthest south I have ever been. Most of the vacations my parents took me on were in Michigan or to Niagara Falls or southern Ontario. |

There's something at a nearby bakery that I like and will buy every so often, but I have no idea what they're called. So I point to them and ask for "twelve of those thingies". |

I've had no interest in posting for the past week, I'm not sure why. I've checked the board occasionally but just haven't felt like posting...
And I get sidetracked on the Internet constantly, especially on Wikipedia. I'll go in Wikipedia because I want to know the zip code of East Frimpleton, Nebraska, and then six hours later I find myself on the article "The History of Toothpaste" and realize I have no time to do my homework. |

How old are their satellite images usually? I've checked out my university on there, and the north student housing is shown as being under construction (it was built in 2003). The courtyard area was completely redone and a new building was added during my first year there, so the satellite images look totally different to me. |

My high school didn't even let us breathe on the computers. I never tried Wikipedia from them, but then again I discovered Wikipedia only a few months before I graduated.
Those Wikipedia mirror things tend to annoy me though. If I want Wikipedia articles, I'll go to the actual Wikipedia, where the articles are more up-to-date, the links work, the search function works, and the article isn't crowded out by definitions and articles from twelve other sites. |

What. The. Fsck.
Racism has apparently become a bad word without people being actually opposed to it, so they act racist but cover it up by saying it's something else. Sheesh, if a person does well enough in high school to be awarded a diploma, they should get one. I didn't go to graduation though, as I don't like pointless ceremonies that consist primarily of waiting. I understand graduation being important for some people, but not for me. I don't need recognition from a community that I permanently left three months later, and a diploma is a diploma. |

Posted by Craig341 Is it because of religion? I'm actually not interested in most normal porn. I like seeing naked women, but not people having sex, especially if one of them is male. |

I like Europop, and my favourite group is Atomic Kitten. So I used a picture of them as my avatar. Of course, everyone else is just thinking "OMG HOT GIRLS". |

I liked polls, especially the silly ones like "What's your favourite type of triangle?". Anyway, they're good for either-or type threads when you want to get the general opinion of the board. Stuff like dogs vs. cats, Coke vs. Pepsi, and so on. |

This board needs more cuteness.
Sometimes I refresh the index page constantly, especially when I'm at school between classes and I'm too lazy to do my homework. |
