I used to hate swearing and never did it. Now I do it constantly when I'm alone, less when people are around. A lot on AIM. I type fuck as fsck not to censor it, but because I think it's funny that a Unix command would be called fsck. Boards with overzealous censors drive me up the wall, especially when even damn and hell are censored.

Speaking of C++, I always read "using namespace std;" to myself as "using namespace sexually transmitted disease".

I graduated from high school in 2005. I would never go back to that time of my life. Everything from early 2004 to mid-2005 was hell.

I will be graduating from university hopefully in December 2009. I don't plan on attending any dopey ceremonies, just gimme my damn degree. I was the same way with HS, I just picked up my diploma afterward.

I know, I've never used a Compaq that worked. They make eMachines look good. (of course, I get what I pay for, and this was the cheapest computer I found.) My first computer (not sharing with my parents') was a Compaq and there are still some at school, which I avoid. I will even wait to use one of the non-Compaq machines or come back later.

Looks like a girl in a bikini to me. The real question is, why is everyone facing away from the TV?

All the Compaqs I mentioned were pre-HP. My dad has a post-merger HP laptop which works pretty well...

I'd never go to a reunion. It'd involve traveling to the hated redneck town I grew up in, and I hope to be thousands of kilometres away from Michigan 10 years after graduation. I don't associate with anyone from there anymore except for two people who go to the same university as me. (Even then, I haven't seen one around in forever.)

I was almost expelled from high school in 2002...if I was, I would have gotten a GED as well, if my dad didn't kill me.

I never loop the same song over and over, but sometimes I listen to songs by the same artist for a long time (usually Atomic Kitten, or Weird Al).

Well, my dad wouldn't have let me drop out or anything. He's very strict, has been in the military for 36 years, has the strongest work ethic of anyone ever, etc. So the only way I could have gotten a GED instead of high school would have been if I was expelled.

You're implying that there's something wrong with lesbians? Besides, there's still four guys...

Tihs? Looks more like a typo of "this" than "shit" backwards. And what do they have against transsexuals? Is the board run by Republicans?

I remember some board on funpic or another lame PHP host would give MYSQL errors whenever anyone said lesbian (but gay was OK), porn, or...cartridges. (Only the plural; cartridge was OK.) Seriously, WTF?

Then we're nowhere. The entire universe consists of here and there, because if something isn't here, it's surely there.

There have been Acmlmers as young as 8 and 9 before, still in elementary school.

Me, I was in 9th grade when I registered at Acmlm's...

Oh, I totally forgot that Yoshina was Imajin's sister...those were the two I was thinking of when I said their ages, but I forgot they were related.

Problem is, if I don't cave in to their demands, they cut off all financial support...not something I want to risk until I have enough education to make decent money outside of the country (don't want to stay for political reasons not to be discussed in this thread). Last week I told them I wanted to do something else with my life involving transferring to a school outside of Michigan, and they brought the above threat. I don't want to be working 60 hours a week either.

I type bad enough as it is without any alcohol getting in the way. I have tried alcohol, which I thought tasted horrible, and I have no desire to ever get drunk. Also, my grandmother is alcoholic, and I've inherited every other mental quirk and condition she has...

It's funny seeing Acmlmers typing drunk though.

I also rest mine on the desktop, but my keyboard is very flat. With a conventional keyboard, they're usually hovering.

University finals are harder, they're often entire essays or huge writing assignments, or long imvolved math problems, or writing computer programs on paper, and generally cover the whole semester. However, you usually have some choice like "Answer 5 of these 10 questions, including at least one from each group" or something. High school finals are often just multiple choice and matching and a lot of mine only covered the more recent topics.

Me, I used an off-brand called "Drain Out" when my bathtub drain was clogged in my old apartment earlier this year.
