Yeah, I'm not noticing bugs, only missing features, but that's understandable. I don't look for bugs or holes in boards though, I just post. I don't see a login box as an opportunity to enter '; DROP DATABASE; -- , I see it as a place to type my username and password to log in. |

I was always the only person at school who had no clue what their parents did for a living. My mom hasn't worked since 1989, and my dad had "the mysterious Air Force job" that supposedly had to do with military intelligence or something, but he never clearly explained what he did. He would work with a lot of secret documents. |

I have a surge protector, but I've always been uneasy about using the Internet during a storm after the time my dad fried the modem when he was online at 03:00 during a thunderstorm. |

No, he said he would do "i", which is AOLese for "I don't have a working shift key". |

Yeah, Michigan is almost like that too. I had a monster heating bill this past winter because of a doorwall that wouldn't close fully, so the cold air from outside would come in and make the furnace run continuously. This new apartment has free heating but I still have to pay for A/C (and that time of year is coming). My A/C bills tend to be high as I like it cool and can't stand much heat whereas I'm more tolerant on the cold end of the spectrum. |

2121. Never being able to get reliable Internet. Every service I've ever had has included constant disconnections and such. |

Don't worry, I have seen my birth certificate. Then again, it could have been fabricated to cover up their secret cloning project.
I wasn't born on base though. At least my parents tell me I wasn't, I was born in the hospital in Mount Clemens (a suburb of Detroit). |

That reminds me of the URL for the TEK board, which was http://www.tekhacks.net/bored instead of board. Supposedly that was because the board was hidden for a while and they didn't want random people finding it until it opened. They figured people wouldn't think of entering "bored" after "board" didn't work, I guess. |

No, I'm the weird one, because I sleep from 23:00 to 07:00. My parents are even weirder, going to bed at 21:00. |

I remember one commercial for a drug that included as a side effect, "increased frequency of bowel movements and an inability to control them" or some such. Who would take a drug that makes them poop in their pants constantly? |

I usually have a lot of space on my hard drives as well. Except for my old Compaq with only 4 GB...I would always have to delete files from that if I wanted to install another game or something. Most of my files are small though...roms and older games, images, text. I don't put entire movies on there or anything. |

2182. My bike apparently getting vandalized. And I might know who did it.
2183. Being constantly rushed right now, what with the move, teachers piling on essays and tests at the last minute, finals, and so on. |

It's really slowing down mine as well, and both of my computers are fairly recent. |

I was always bullied in elementary school. It was so bad that my mom had to drive me to and from school because I'd almost be murdered on the bus.
More recently, whoever vandalized my bike last night. |

Ugh, I hate sleeping for 12 or more hours at a stretch. I like getting a decent amount of sleep so that I'm rested, but I don't like wasting time basically doing nothing when I could find so many other ways to waste time instead. |

Yeah, radio stations always have really ridiculous call-in stuff. It pisses me off when they spend more time taking in calls and laughing at the people calling than actually playing music. (Part of the reason why I rarely listen to terrestrial radio anymore.) |

Does it happen after you've been using the computer for a while? I used to have that kind of trouble because my laptop would overheat. The only fan is on the bottom, so the air can't escape when it's on plastic or high carpet. |

My mom used to do that a lot, she'd called hard drive space "memory" which confused the hell out of me for a while as I was already confusing hard drive space with RAM. Once we had a game that needed 570K of conventional memory (this back in the days of Windows 3.1) and we had 640K, and I thought the game would fill most of the hard drive because of that.
Then, my mom thought that deleeting files consisted of deleting their shortcuts, and we wondered why we could never free up very much space. |

I don't change my sleep schedule on school days vs. weekends. Not like my dad, who goes to bed at 21:00 if he has work the next day, and 01:00 or later otherwise. |

...Petabytes?
I assume that was an error in the file size stored by the OS... |
