1743. Philosophy-class essays. I just don't understand how writing a 4-page essay contrasting Plato's and Machiavelli's ideas on government is going to make me a better computer programmer. Writing is something I could enjoy, but these mandatory classes make me hate it.
1744. When I'm finally ready to print my essay, but my printer's paper-feed mechanism is broken and will not print no matter what I do. |

Posted by Trapster A girl tamer...interesting. Sometimes I joke that I should be a boob inspector. My ID is 133, which was a common speed for early Pentiums. It's also the first three characters of leet. |

Posted by Ailure I agree, except I'm unfortunate enough to live in the land of the guns. If there were no readily available guns, there would be a lot less random murders. |

If Katelyn were here, she would say "Leaving the acute mark off of the é in Pokémon".
1792. Katelyn is still gone. |

Posted by Higsby Yeah, now that we have actual newbies. I think the third incarnation used a newbie thread... I remember a "Matt" at the first incarnation, mostly for the custom title of "Ms. Naughtin's Hackey Sack", oddly enough. Is that you? |

Posted by Danielle I'm not sure I want to know what an "ass pizookie" is. Me, I like my July birthday. It's in the summer, my favourite time of year, and (until university) I never had school on my birthday. Plus it's far away from every other birthday in my family (two now-dead grandparents had summer birthdays, everyone else is in the November to March range). |

Posted by Trapster There's still uncountable infinity. But yeah, no infinity squared or anything (disregarding an AIM convo between me and Katelyn about huge numbers). Basically, countable infinity is like "all positive integers", because you can, well, count them. They continue on to forever, but there is a definite sequence (1, 2, 3, etc.) Uncountable infinity is something like "all real numbers between 1 and 2". You can't count those. If you go like 1, 1.1, 1.2, etc. you skipped numbers like 1.05. If you try 1, 1.000001, 1.000002, and so on, you still missed an infinite amount of numbers between 1 and 1.000001. And so on. You can never get all the numbers, because if you name any two numbers in the range there is still an infinite amount of numbers between them. |

I somehow doubt it's the real AE. If it is, he'll be glad to know that Tomguy isn't here. |

Posted by Koitenshin +∞ All 1 of them? Or do you plan to switch every week? Just keep a folder called "Acmlmboard Avatars" or something inside of whatever directory you keep your images in and store them in there...it will use the same amount of HD space, but they won't clutter up the directories. |

Yeah, I don't have too many, I think I have 4. One of them is just the text "THIS IS AN AVATAR" in a square that I made back when I was testing board software.
I used to not use avatars at all, and now I only use them at places where I'm active, which right now is only Acmlm's II. |

Posted by Katelyn Don't worry, I'll make ya one...if I'm still around... I hope July 19th becomes "Kernal's Birthday" instead of "Emuz's Birthday", as the latter hasn't posted in forever and isn't even here. |

Yep, Katelyn is back from Tokyo, so naturally I had to update my custom title. |

Posted by TheGreatGuy Yeah, I like clouds and rain too. I like the sun if it's making things warmer and not too hot, but I vastly prefer cloudy days. |

Yep, rain > snow.
The thing I don't like about thunderstorms is the inconenience they cause. Not having a car, I can't go anywhere without risking getting struck by lightning (I still go to school and work, but nowhere else), and after my dad fried a modem during a thunderstorm way back, I don't go online. Other than that, they're pretty cool... |

My dad has a decent amount of money but is extremely stingy. The only thing he's willing to spend it on is cars and gas, he lives really far away from work (like, 120 km or so), but housing is cheaper there. (Well of course it is! The place is full of trailer parks!) He only spends money on me very reluctantly. And when I mean spends money, I'm not talking about luxuries or gifts, I'm talking about rent. He works two jobs despite making almost $100k/year in one, and he used to work three until this year. |

Well, it depends. High school was torture for me and I lived in the crappiest town in the world, so I was glad to be 18 and finally leave. The workload at university is more but not too bad, and every single thing else is so much better here. |

Posted by Katelyn 1820. Not understanding how someone can actually like high school. It was the worst years of my life. |
