Yeah, TEK. It did have way too many staff, I think the place collapsed from the constant bickering and such (yeah, I was part of that with my "OMG MICRO$OFT $UCK$"). It was cool for a while though.
Sorry about my emo-ness yesterday, people. Everything went wrong at once...I procrastinated on my essay because I couldn't think of a topic, and yesterday it was basically do or die, and everything has to go wrong. I forgot my backpack and had to go back and was late to my Haskell midterm, then I was late for work, then I got totally stumped on the latest Haskell homework (it's a very...unusual programming language) and my prob & stat homework, then I forget to pick up my exam, then two things on my bike break at the same time rendering it unrideable, then I can only fix one of them without going to a bike shop, and it's gonna frickin SNOW today. Snow in April is evil. And now I realize I forgot to study for my vocabulary test today. |

There is a thread with pictures of people, but yeah, having them all alphabetized on one page would be nice. |

My former town had a lot of retirees and older couples (generally with children in the Detroit area), but some of those were only there in cottages in the summer. Most of the younger people were the children of the farm families and therefore lived outside the actual town (and the rest were generally in amongst the trailer trash). |

I must be weird. I never even knew that sex existed until I was like 14, and then I didn't believe it. Seriously, I thought the sperm cells actually "swam" through the air into the woman. |

I always wanted to know, why isn't it called The Legend of Link? I wonder how many videogame newbies thought the main character in green with the sword was named "Zelda"...I know my mom did when we first got Zelda 1. |

Posted by Xkeeper I'd strangle my old self as well. I'm still trying to repress memories of 2004 (the Emo Dumbass Era). No wonder I got flamed back in the day, acting how I did. Especially at TEK. |

Posted by KP9000 When you already have 255. At least Zelda 3 let you have 999, but I'd always be hitting the max in no time once I knew where all the 300-rupee treasure chests and such were located. There just isn't much to buy in Zelda 3 to use all those rupees other than potions and bomb/arrow capacity increases (except the flippers of course). Mostly it's just a few incidentals...10 here, 100 there. Let's just hope the server doesn't explode at midnight GMT-8. |

I have a new desktop as well (actually, the picture is from two days ago but it hasn't changed since then except for a couple more icons). This is my desktop PC, and I finlly have a background image instead of just the default blue. LOL. |

Yeah, I had no clue about sex or female anatomy. I thought sperm flew through the air from the penis into the vagina, which I thought was located in the butt. I also thought sperm were just these barely visible flying specks, no seminal fluid or anything. |

*throws a cake at Xkeeper*
*throws another cake at Xkeeper's bomb, causing it to prematurely explode* Since the bomb was located in the middle of Nebraska, there were quite obviously no casualties. |

Layouts would be awesome. Hell, I might even have a layout. Or not. But now that I have broadband I can see all the pretty layouts. See, I used to have crappy dialup so I always turned them off so that pages would load within the decade. |

I actually knew some of the common acronyms like LOL and BRB (I had this book on the Internet that we got in 1996 when we first got Internet, after which we moved and didn't have it for a while), but I was puzzled by 1337, 1337-speak, w00t, All your base are belong to us, and such. |

I'll either be using a Commodore 64 layout or, uh...something else. Depends on if Katelyn finishes the something else. |

I remember when computers only had 64K of RAM, 5-inch floppy drives (the disks were actually floppy!) which took a couple of minutes to load only a few kilobytes, and were directly programmable in Basic, with line numbers.
Yeah, I was born in 1987 and not 1962, but my parents kept old computers around and I used them at a very young age... |

Posted by Ailure Compaq was reliable? Every Compaq computer I have ever used was a piece of fecal matter that ran extremely slowly, especially at startup. |

Isn't .rar Windows-specific? I know .7z and .zip are supported by programs available for many different operating systems. |

TinaSitter? As far as I know, it's a program that puts a girl on the corner of your screen and she tells you when people post at Acmlm's II and such. Here is a thread about it. |

I still wish I could find an unzipper (well, un-archiver) program that deletes the compressed version automatically after decompressing. I get so sick of deleting all the compressed files left sitting around in folders everywhere. You'd think it would be a simple enough feature to implement... |

There is no craziness, only "fish", formerly "...Oh no!", before that "", and before that "Xkeeper sucks at witty descriptions". And I bet the name'll change again within the week. |
