I think it's the work of the sticky gremlins. They lurk under the floorboards and come out at night to stick threads at random. |

My parents always trained me to shut down any computer I'm not using, as they're extremely stingy and not willing to pay the few more cents per month. Now that I'm on my own, I often leave it on if I know I'll be back on soon, but I turn it off at night and such. |

I made a page on myself for no reason, but it sucks as I just threw random stuff up there.
Danielle feeding Green Day. What, does she have Green Day in a cage and is tossing food scraps like at a zoo? |

I would historically stay home if I had any vestige of a cold, but in my HS days I'd take ANY excuse to avoid school, which was hell. Now, I'm the opposite and generally go to class and work if I have a cold, but I rarely get them anymore. |

Posted by Kles Yeah, last names can be evil. My last name (a) sounds like a type of pasta, and (b) rhymes with weenie, so I got made fun of a lot in elementary school. |

Posted by Higsby Random dead ends sounds like the suburbs of Detroit. Well that in addition to looping streets that intersect themselves and each other several times and intersecting streets that only differ in the name in the suffix, as in "Oakwood Drive" intersecting "Oakwood Court". |

It's Atomic Kitten, my favourite musical group. (Yes, I like mindless girly pop. Got a problem with that?) My old avatar was a bunch of Commodore Basic code taken at random from a program I made a while back.
I can't draw avatars (or anything else). I'm OK (not very good though) drawing by hand, but I just can't draw things or manipulate images on a computer at all. |

Hmmm...the worst thing about the C64 keyboards were that they had only two arrow keys. You had to do shift-right for left, and shift-down for up. On the other hand, the screen editor allowed you to change a program line simply by moving the cursor up to the line, entering the change and hitting return. On Apple IIs and most other contemporary computers, you had to retype the whole line. |

Don't put anything in them though, as you'll forget they're there eventually (especially when it gets warm and you don't wear it for a while) and you'll never see again what you put in there. |

And I can't even get a station that's 10 km away without all kinds of crackly static. At least I couldn't yesterday. I don't listen to terrestrial radio very often though. |

I've had to shut down computers by turning off the power strip before, when the computer is so frozen up that it won't even shut down properly. |

I always use pockets. My front pants pockets always have my wallet, some kleenex for these damn allergies, and chapstick. In the winter, I put my gloves in my front coat pockets (one glove per pocket). |

Posted by EvilMushroom I thought the same thing, and I figured Lesbia was somewhere in the Balkans, like Serbia. I thought all of school was just playing on the floor with toy cars and such, and that kindergarden to 12th grade only took maybe three weeks and then I didn't have to go to school anymore. Boy was I disappointed... |

Well, if you remain a prominent posting member of Acmlm's Board II and people start updating the wiki, someone might make you an article. |

Some antibiotics are being so overprescribed that they don't work for some people or some strains of bacteria. My mom knew this and I only had antibiotics 3 times in my life (the most recent in 2001 for an ear infection, don't remember the other two). I was surprised to learn that a lot of people get antibiotics for every little cold or illness. |

I think Cat Justice is referring to monosodium glutamate, a food additive which many people are allergic to. |

775. The assumption that EVERYONE has a car and uses it as their ONLY means of transportation. Even people who see me on my bicycle going to/from school every day still ask where my car is. |
