In the case of a URL, just use a tag instead to give the URL text a different name.
Like this: <a href="http://www.whatever.com/something.htm">Link text goes here</a> |

I had to go to my parents' house to get my bike fixed and bring a boatload of stuff here. Other than that, I've been posting at Acmlm's and playing around with my Commodore 64 and 128 emulators. |

Lucky you...I've always hated the public schools. My parents were too cheap for anything else though, although they're perfectly willing to pay for the gas required for my dad to drive 80 miles to work so they can live in redneck territory instead of the city/suburbia. |

I've never used MSN. When I got instant messenger in 2003, I chose AIM because it seemed to be the most popular at the boards I went to at the time (including Acmlm's). I use Gaim, and I've never gotten Trillian to work, oddly enough. |

426. The weird OO.O margin default of 0.79 inches. Especially considering I live in a state where teachers have been known to give F's on essays where the margins aren't exactly 1 inch. |

I switched to Gaim after I got fed up with AOL's AIM and its stupid voice ads. I listen to music on the computer and Internet a lot, and I don't like having voice ads play on top of it.
Also, AOL's program has been linked to spyware and viruses... |

Yeah, don't you hate when a new version is worse than the old? I remember an old Windows Media Player which didn't do the web-enhanced stuff, and I could play any songs I wanted in any order from Internet radio stations...and Windows doesn't seem to allow Media Player to be replaced with an older version. |

428. The fact that it's so pathetically easy to get an American driver's license, putting way too many total idiots on the road. In Michigan, you can get a learner's permit at 14, or even earlier if you're on a farm. The minimum age should be at least 18 and they should make sure you REALLY know how to drive before awarding a license. |

I like rising gas prices. I hope they get up to $100 per gallon so maybe people will stop driving.
430. Anything American |

I was 18 when I started to feel old. It was early 2006 and I woke up and suddenly I realized that time was moving really really fast. Like a minute would go by, but it only felt like maybe 20 seconds. |

I graduated high school. Boring, huh?
I was almost expelled in 2002 though for making, uh, threats. I'm very mentally unstable. |

I once saw a girl eat a live worm, washing it down with Pepsi. Not for money, just for the hell of it. We were in the science lab and there was a bucket of worms. |

Nope, never heard of it. Does it have any European pop and dance music? Most Internet radio is way too rock-oriented for me. |

Hey, 2D Zelda games are über-awesome. I'm not too familiar with Final Fantasy though. To tell you the truth, I had never even heard of Final Fantasy until I started posting at Acmlm's! |

My equivalent was MEAP tests, which were all in 11th grade. I had to retake the writing test, which puzzled me because I normally get A's and B's in writing (assuming I don't have to write from memory). |

A lot of times I start a game, lose interest, stop playing it, start over a few months later, get slightly farther than the first time, lose interest again, stop again, lather, rinse, and repeat. So there are games that I haven't beaten, but I know the beginning of the game REALLY well. |

When you were younger, did you believe or think anything dumb?
- I thought the other kind of gasoline, besides regular, was called "diet". In New Jersey (where I lived until I was 6), gas stations are always full-service; you have to ask an attendant to fill your tank for you and you have to tell them the type of gas you want. My mom would ask for "regular unleaded". She drank regular pop. My dad drank diet pop. So I thought when my dad asked for gas, he wanted "diet leaded". - I really thought there was a Santa, Easter bunny, and tooth fairy. Then I was scared to death of them during my insomniac periods. - I thought Alaska was really next to Mexico, like it is on the little box in the corner of most USA maps. |

I used to say gibberish like "sgirfhiueshipghipughuirehiger" etc. a lot, and my dad would jokingly call it "Tasmanian". Imagine my disappointment when I found out that people in Tasmania speak English. |

Damn, no 20 stars?
I want Yoshi's Island DS...I've played the SNES/GBA one, and I often get all the flowers and coins but lose a few stars near the end, so I get only like 97 points in a level. |
