Posted by Acmlm That's because the server is in Germany, which hasn't started DST yet. Kind of a pain for Americans and Canadians, but what else would you expect them to do? Arbitrarily use the DST settings of some place halfway around the world? |

As far as I'm concerned, "SMB2" is just a romhack of DDP that has Mario sprites. Nintendo should have just released DDP and SMB2J everywhere... |

Posted by BMF54123 It's also (I believe) the 3-year anniversary of the first board going down. Which, interestingly enough, was a quarter-decade after 09-11. |

I use ellipses too much as well...I don't know why, I seem to have gotten into the habit of using them several years ago to indicate...like a trailing thought that isn't really finished. Hell, I don't even know what I mean by them anymore... |

I get very important E-mails from university, and my parents E-mail me a lot. Otherwise, it's usually account activations (I hate those!) and password reminders and such. Oddly enough, neither of my current E-mail accounts ever get any spam at all. |

Yeah, I didn't get to sleep until 03:00. Damn this insomnia. I woke up at like 08:40, which pisses me off as I like to be awake by 08:00. |

I think "meh" is different, it means more "I don't care" or "It doesn't matter". I used to use "bah" for that but switched to "peh" recently.
I do tend to start a lot of posts and sentences with a single word followed by a comma as in "Yeah", "Well", etc. |

Wow, this is awesome. Reminds me of the lost levels of SMB3, although there are less of them. It's always cool seeing what unused stuff ends up on the cartridge.
I remember in 1997 or so trying Game Genie codes in SMB1 to see if there was some kind of secret world. All I found were glitch levels, some of which were pretty cool, but they were usually like 2-1 repeated 5 times or something boring like that. And they would freeze sometimes, especially when hitting a flag underwater. Sometimes you'd just see bubbles rise from the castle door forever and you wouldn't go to the next level. |

I remember a version of 4-3 that had a grey bowser throwing hammers at the beginning. Now that was weird. |

Posted by DSMagnum He's in Australia, where the seasons are the opposite of the northern hemisphere. So he would gain an hour. |

I'm not sure if I have it, although I do have everything else.
I can't sit still for long though, I have to get up and pace around every so often. Unfortunately, there's apparently a troublesome floorboard in this apartment which causes the window downstairs to rattle and the people who live there to complain at me being too loud. |

I don't use any mail notifiers. I just check my E-mail a few times a day. Of course, sometimes I forget for a few days, and miss something important like my boss saying "Enter your hours for the past two weeks into the computer by Friday at 08:00". |

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -8.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.18 Being a socialist, I'm not surprised. I think I'm pretty much exactly opposite Bush politically. |

I just turned off the automatic adjustment for DST and changed the time on the computer manually. |

Is there a way to make the forum's "New" icons work so that they go away when you view the forum page and nobody has posted in there since? |

I'm loving Blue Storm right now. Nice deep blue, a nice relief from the horizontal stripes in the default, and blue is my favourite colour. |

Yeah, a wider selection of colours would be nice. Especially a green-based theme. |

Can't say I've ever used a newsgroup. They're kinda the precursor to message boards? I was introduced to the Internet through the World Wide Web in 2001, so I found message boards befpre I knew what a newsgroup even was. I have read a few posts on Google Groups, but that's it. |
