This looks like a fake, the graphics seem to have been taken from various other games like LTTP and the GBC Zeldas... |

Why is there a "New thread" link IN a thread, anyway? (assuming this was supposed to go in the pets thread) |

Did you know that Hungarian notation was put to the wrong use? It was originally used to differentiate variables that could be confused with each other in Word and Excel...something like wRow and wColumn for the cursor position within the window but cRow and cColumn for the cursor position within the cell. Then some other people at Microsoft saw it and decided to use similar prefixes to record the type of each variable instead of the function, which is where the notation went horribly wrong. Many common Windows functions are encoded with the wrong type because the variable type changed with the shift between 16-bit to 32-bit Windows but the names remained the same for compatibility.
Yay, my first edited post. |

Probably not long. I wake up automatically between 07:00 and 08:00 no matter how little or how much sleep I got, and I don't need an alarm to wake up. Since I never fall asleep before 22:00 and usually it's quite a bit later, I don't sleep more than 10 hours at a time. |

I used to be deathly afraid of worms for some reason. Maybe because they're creepy and squishy. And I was even more deathly afraid of seeing a two-headed worm. |

At high school, we used 100% Dell computers which had a circular "button" thingy on the front with the Dell logo on them. People would often remove the logo. The administration finally found out about this and yelled at all of us to not remove them anymore, not because it's vandalism or anything (even though it is), but because (according to them) it ruins the network card. Now I have repaired and even built computers before, and I know that the network card is located in pretty much the opposite end of the case as the logo, not to mention that the logo contains no electronic parts and therefore has no impact on the performance of the computer. I wonder if one of their computers' network card broke down randomly and that computer just happened to have a missing logo... |

A quick reply feature would be nice as well. Some board systems have that and when it's there, I barely ever use the normal reply box unless I need to quote someone. |

My first portable system was the Game Boy Advance, so I missed the original GB Tetris. We had the NES version though. |

Around here there are sometimes weird gaps in the numbering and the two sides of the street don't necessarily match up. There's one street where it's like 4162 on one side and 29335 on the other. This must be confusing for someone looking for a particular address because they assume the addresses on one side more or less match those on the other. |

We were allowed to play games, but only the ones that come built into Windows like solitaire and pinball. And only in computer class after you're done with your assignment, not in the library. We all got in huge trouble in one class for playing Snood constantly, they made it so that Snood shuts down after a few seconds if you tried to play it. |

Snakes are pretty awesome, although I'd want the venomous ones to stay far away. My favourite animal is probably a frog though. |

292. VCRs.
293. People who say that people on the Internet have no life. I do have a life, it's just on the Internet. I'd rather talk to geeky types from all over the world than a bunch of dumbass Michiganians who live in McMansions and drive Hummers and their greatest goals in life are to get a bigger McMansion and a bigger Hummer. |

Good thing M is a symmetrical letter, huh? I knew I saw something odd about the banner this morning...
Also I saw at least one quote that had the person's name in quotation marks like: Posted by "Kernal" |

Posted by fabio Only for US posters though. Other countries have different dates (or don't have DST at all in tropical regions). I never saw the point of DST. We should all adjust our clocks half an hour and never touch them again. Of course, as a little kid I had fun going around and changing all the clocks. I loved anything that involved pushing buttons for some reason...I would push random buttons on the remote control while my parents were watching TV, for instance. And then get yelled at. I still couldn't resist that remote though...all those buttons! The VCR remote was even better! |

Yeah, I always called it an "extra hour of wake". And I also prefer gaining the hour over losing it. Not a big deal this year though as it's just one less hour of spring break, which is already a week. |

I rarely buy new games anymore, I just download old ones for free. I don't like the new games with too much emphasis on graphics. |

What Xkeeper said.
I always wanted to make a game with a 2D overhead view where you're trying to get treasure in an abandoned mine while being pursued by robots. I tried coding it and got like 3 lines down before giving up. Not to mention I can't draw at all, so the graphics would SUCK. |
