I thought business was spelled "buisness" forever. I guess having "ui" represent a "short i" sound made more sense to me than the i being silent...
And I have trouble with -ant and -ent words and "separate". Damn English and its damn schwas... |

Posted by ArBeWhy Same here. I was afraid to breathe or, um, a certain member would blow my head off for using up oxygen. Every post I made was followed by a flame from this guy for a while. Most of my posts have historically been in general or craziness. I tend to prefer the "community" forums on a board to the subject specific stuff. |

My keyboard's weird, there are two space keys (not really a bar) next to each other, both of which are labeled "Space". |

Ugh, I hate getting sick. Once when I was in 5th grade I was so sick that I was vomiting almost constantly for hours. I had to lock myself in the bathroom (good thing there were two of them).
I have vomited recently but only in isolated episodes, probably just some bad food... |

I ride my bike to and from school and work whenever it is humanly possible (i.e., above freezing and no snow on the ground). I also walk outside for a while every day, sometimes for 5 miles or more. |

It's really aggravating how the apostrophe is so close to Enter on the keyboard, so I'm often prematurely sending messages on AIM when I meant to just type an apostrophe. |

Sentences begin with uppercase letters.
I think putting the ~ ` key there would be good. The two symbols are never used in English and only rarely used in most programming languages. |

As I said before, you must hold down the shift key while you are typing the first letter of a sentence.
Actually, I think the keyboard layout is really screwed up. It should be: ABCDEFGHIJ KLMNOPQRS TUVWXYZ with symbols arranged more logically (exclamation point and question mark near each other, etc.). Also, it would be nice if there was a way to enter diacritic marks from the keyboard without changing your keyboard settings. |

Dvorak may be the easiest to type with, but when someone who has never used a computer sits down at a keyboard, they would expect the letters to be in the same order that they are in dictionaries, phone books, and everywhere else all the letters are listed, dating all the way back to the ancient Romans (plus a couple additions between then and now). You don't see dictionaries use an alphabetical order of PHQRLF..., phone books using BEWUXZ..., and encyclopedias use UXHJRE..., do you? It makes no sense for everything except keyboards to use ABCDEF... and end with Z but for keyboards to go QWERTY... ending with M.

I haven't gotten sick at all after moving here, but at my parents' house I'd get sick every couple of months. I would usually miss about 20 days of school a year. |
