I've done something like this before. So this might help.

It involves Movement (On and Off), Notify status, and Variable triggers. Here, examine the Touch Me Not (http://www.mediafire.com/file/lwajddcmdmn/Echo.TMN.fed).

Hopefully this helps you.

Note too, that you can now edit the Fraxy and Edit cfg files. So you can set the resolution to whatever you want! Just be careful when doing so.

Actually I think those params effect all [J] joint Parts, with only Move Joints being slightly different ("Target" instead of "Speed"), and the the specified rolling panel(I think thats it) having 4 params instead of three.

TheBlueEcho

I'll drop by from time to time.

Question: Who do I contact if I forgot my Password for the wiki? (If My Account still works?)
Thanks guys. I'm back in now.

Well you have 2 options:
Change extra parameter 3: there's at least 1 or 2 numbers that cause it to move back and forth. Start from 0 and move up the list.

or

Juggle between parameters: Look at The Event Tutorials under Switching Extra Parameters Per Shot. I realize it was designed for weapons but it might shed some insight.

Open Fraxy.cfg with notepad or something and tell me what Free_AppearPos says. It should be one. If it is some other number, set it to one.

If it always appears in the same place then that means the appear position is indeed "fixed", otherwise it would appear in random places... ... ...
Well yeah. But from a brief examination, if you set Appear position to, say, 2048, the boss should always appear to the right of the player. If you set it to 0, it appears anywhere. I don't think it's ment to work like that, but it does.

Try it out for yourself. If it don't work like I said, then I must be going bonkers.

I wouldn't mind if you could modify the damage a weapon does (possibly by extra parameters).

Or, how about modifying the Energy Egg shrapnel with extra parameters (ex. Energy Egg explosion creates bullets, so how about modifying those bullets)?
That, and some kind of Deviation value, similar to BSF, where the bullet fires in random directions at a specified angle (like how you specifiy the Barriers ring.). Heh, it's only fair if mon borrows an Idea from BSF, I believe.

I've uploaded a revised version removing collision with the minor drones. I had that very same idea - while testing, I flew into the drones more than I care to admit... ('').
Thats a good thing. These things killed me more by being in my way than actually shooting at me. (though that does quite abit of damage as well.)

...the draw command "normal" probably turns hit check on by default...
Yep. It does. Hence why it's necessary to change the flag every time you 'normal' a part.

I'm just assuming, but it looks like it's eating up the Vulcan shots and converting them into some energy stuff for the player. I say this because of the weird blue shockwave effect, and that most of the electrical stuff is at the top where the bullets are. Plus, why would there be no bullets inside that ring of energy stuff, since the bullets appear to be a continuous stream.

Just assuming, of course. Regardless, I'm interested in this new version, and definitely looking forward to it.

How about a glow effector, so we don't have to use Parts-Regen/ect.
Also some kind of shapes effector/part, so we don't have to use Searchlights, and so we can make other shapes like hexagons and octagons, instead of just squares and Triangles.

Pull up a Dictionary/Thesaurus, and got these:

Distinguished
Famed
Famous
Notable
Noteworthy
Renowned
Excellent
Prominent
Highly Regarded
Honorable
Remarkable
Admirable
Virtuoso
Savvy

Possibly these will give you an Idea? I'm leaning to Notable/Noteworthy, as it is not as strong as Expert, but not necessarily lessening there contributions/importance. Like "Notable People/members of Fraxy", or "Noteworthy Fraxians".

Like the WF player ship gun? That would be useful, there have been times I would've liked to have an option for that...
Yeah.

Actually I think it's pretty cool looking. Wouldn't mind using it as a player ship.

Though, I might change the colors abit.

I feel that I could not find a blob MONO凄I something somewhere ...

Color for faster results and tried a little bit, but the increase in the size of the executable.

As a small tip, when you run the command line debug 1 displays the number of enemy bullets across the top and pass the string.
Other value for debug is as follows.
& 1: Ebullet
& 2: Counter
& 4: Player
& 8: Enemy
& 16: Background
& 32: Try
& 64: --
& 128: --
& 256: damage
Anybody know anything about Debug Mode?
