Xk - I PDF'ed the story so I could mark some literally transcribed thoughts with italics and not worry about word processing software compatibility. When you compromise 73% of ALL PRIVATE MESSAGES ON THE BOARD and they take up almost 25% of the size of the entire poststext table, IT NEEDS TO STOP.

Just a note to save whatever PMs you like, because I'm deleting each and every one of them. This is getting out of hand and is completely unreasonable.

(You know who you are.)

(Note: This only concerns two specific people. The majority of users shouldn't worry about this, but I'm doing it via sticky to let people know that wasting 5 MB on back-and-forth quote pyramid "LOL"s is not acceptable.)

Yes, 65535. Which is fine for the occasional big PM, but even 3 "lol, 25000bytes" PMs will outweigh that.

But yes, I did read about some school buying a bunch of DDR machines. I owuldn't be suprised, but I'd hate to see a PE class based entirely off of DDR grades...

No, this is more of a "don't do it again or I'll just disable the PM system for you" thing. Spamming is clogging up the main user area with this crap... I'd be a lot more pissed if it kept going on at this point.

I'll probably do it when I've gone to bed and restarted the day. Right now I feel a lot like never looking at a <?php ?> block ever again.

I don't know about you, but when the choice came between "rapidly wiggling my thumb back and forth on this tiny fucking d-pad" and "just ignoring it and saving myself the pain", I think I'd pick the latter too.
