It looks like typical bargin bin RAM ("Surf and download faster, durr!").
But I can't immediately think of any reason it wouldn't work. The size of chips shouldn't matter as long as all of the connections to the mobo are the same... ...and even then, don't they have a return system you can use if it doesn't work?  ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Yes. But in the inverse, sometimes they can help you make money (by directing users there when they have a search your site hits high for).
Although, yes, having money being made off of you (searches coupled with ads) feels wrong at first, it's more of a symbiotic relationship, in that they give us hits and we give them an index they can stick ads next to. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I could go to Fry's sometime soon (read: next week...) and look at their RAM board. I know that 512M of RAM is usually about that expensive, although I only looked at 1G and might need to look again

Yes, but I only had that problem when I got PC133 instead of PC100... Every stick of PC100 I've come across has the same pin layout. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I tried reading it, got up to two or three pages in, lost interest.
To be honest, a lot of it is environment (I do not like PDFs at all, .txt is fine for this... especially since I prefer light on dark and not black on blinding white), as well as general overall distractions... then again, reading something under "horror" when you're already the kind of chicken who leaves the lights on when nobody's home

- Logging in as a guest doesn't give the "NEW" icons their usual functions. (They show up if the thread has been posted in within an hour)
- The "Latest posts" link doesn't include usage of "Mark forum read" when determining if it should show "NEW" or not. ____________________ I dealt with it. |
