Posted by ColinI don't see the reasoning behind a "You can't publish game X" rule. I guess that's what happens when developers can lockdown a system so that it only does what they want it to do -- technically a form of DRM nobody really cares about (go figure). It might just be me, but I don't get it -- isn't the whole idea of an "AO" rating, that a game cannot be bought by minors? The console cos should just allow all non-copyright-infringing, non-pirated, etc games to be published. The lack of support retail should cause developers to look for ways to reduce the rating as it is, without denying us outright if a publisher decides to publish an AO-game. In the event that some activist group calls out GeneriConsoleCo, they can just say that "The sale and restriction of these games is not our problem; retailers and parents should ensure that AO-rated games are not being sold or played by minors." But, you know, nobody has any balls anymore and is willing to just bend over and take what they get. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Posted by HyperHackerI don't see why you hate them so much; IE's method makes much more sense.Posted by NightKevBecause the developers of IE said "fuck the standards, alt and title are the same thing!" "If there is no title tag nor alt tag, dispaly nothing. If there is an alt tag but no title tag, display the alt tag. If there is no alt, but a title tag, display the title. If there is both an alt and a title tag, display the title." This makes far more sense to me. The standards aren't always the best idea, and there's no real reason to hate just becuase IE kicks the shit out of FF for once. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

These posts are worthless, contribute nothing, and (quite often) are there only to stir up shit. From now on, they will be expressly deleted if I come across them. (See also: "QFT" posts.) You know who you are. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Please note that the proper format for a comment tag is:
<!-- this is the comment. --> The end is not --!>. That breaks things. Stop doing it. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

You have about an hour to prepare. That is, it goes off at 00:00 PST.

Welcome.
Q> What's going on? I wanted to try an experiment. Simple enough. Q> So why are we all "Anonymous"? That's the experiment. Q> Our profiles are still there! Yes, but you can't get to them by board-made links anymore. Q> What about private messages? I'm expecting one! Private messages are exempt from the effects. Q> So what if some spammer/idiot comes?! Can you still ban people? Yes. Your username is just hidden temporarily; the board still knows who you are, and I can find out very quickly. Do not think you are immune to bans. Q> I need to contact the admins about something! Our name links will go to our profiles still. You can PM us. Q> What about logging in? "Anonymous" doesn't work! Use your "real" username. Q> How long does this last? Until I wake up tonight. Enjoy. I look forward to the results. ____________________ I dealt with it. |
