The original graph was updated to version 2.0 with a better averaging system (thanks, Bisqwit!).
It looks much smoother and a lot more like "jam":

I actually have more windows open on occasion (this was from the explosions a few days ago ), but for the most part I try and keep it down... it was a lot worse before when my taskbar had more room, since I usually only clean it up when I start hitting dual columns  ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I honestly don't know how you people can survive with only five or six
I actually rarely lose place (only on dual columned taskbars), mostly because I know the general location of where things are ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I do it too, except I auto-correct and never notice especially when I'm trying to read something fast (like that)

I only like grouping because it keeps tasks together, I hate it when it starts compressing them down (never noticed? if there's enough room, programs will be aligned next to eachother with "grouping" on, instead of being distributed in terms of "first opened")
It really helps to have all of my IM boxes in one sction of the taskbar ____________________ I dealt with it. |
