Technically, the levels' grpahics could be shifting and garbling all over, making it much harder to see  ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I smashed and compressed the stupid title input box some, so now it can hold 255 characters instead of that stupid 100 limit.
Why it was lowered in the first place boggled my mind, as the database still held 255 (so you could easily circumvent it by just editing the damn HTML) ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I never did understand Acmlm's rationale behind "it only needs to be 100 characters", and even the database was set up for it (varchar 255), so I just went and did it

Posted by KatelynI never got why Acmlm did that (and I was consdiering doing it myself), as he just made it replace the title character with some stupid nonprintable character (usually showing up as a box or similar on the forum list) It'd help with replies-as-threads too, since you usually don't enter a subject for those. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I mostly played with Automenu's menu system, before deleting it entirely in my dumbass-method of installing Windows 3.1 (protip: do not copy all 7 disks to your hard drive's root)
Past that, typing was mostly done either during my early years or during 6th grade, where typing was a required class... we had to type out lines from a book twice in a row, and print them, but on those crappy macintoshes I just did it once and cut/pasted
I remember being able to type well before that, though, so... Also, I refuse to do online WPM tests. Mostly because they force you to "copy exactly" information, and it automatically costs you some overhead in figuring out where you are with it. It's a lot easier, and faster, tos imply type what you want, although I tend to make mistakes, too ____________________ I dealt with it. |

We had pieces of paper taped to the top of keyboards, but considering the teacher was too busy making crosswords for us to do instead of typing, anyone who actually used them was a joke
I just took it off because I didn't like having something above (and on) my hands like that. Grrghbh. ____________________ I dealt with it. |
