Your "score" was your incorrect points (so technically, I scored 47). Lower is better.

I've been running my HP laptop for almost a year (10 months now), cost me $900 and:

- 512 MB RAM
- 1440x900 wiiiiidescreen
- actual numpad
- works great, ~2-3 hour battery life
- built in wireless
- 1800MHz AMD Turion64
- ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M

(HP dv8000 if you're interested)

Not a bad deal, never had a problem with it. Just be ready to clean off all the preloaded garbage and you'll be fine.

Have you tried getting the latest flash player version? or try getting another brand like Macromedia.
Uh... you do realize that Macromedia/Adobe are the only publishers of an actual flash viewer, right?

I'm sure there's some bullshit OPEN SOURCE LUZL, but... well, yeah, 99% of the time unless you're some open source freak you're using Adobe/Macro's.

Just get a faster computer

I find it easier to just immediately reformat the disk and reinstall Windows with a clean start.
There's usually a lot of propitary drivers you need right away, so I've shied away from doing this.

*191738> @Tina> Henderson, NV: Boring, 94°F (34.4°C) - Forecast: Clear; High: 99°F (37.2°C), Low: 68°F (20.0°C)

For the record, I made it say "Boring" (for Henderson only) if it is "Clear" or "Fair".

Several days later, it hasn't changed.

Surely your local weather is more interesting, right?

Your best bet is simply to ensure that you and your netplay buddy are using the exact same plugins with the exact same settings.

The only thing really intersting about this any more is the level select code, and that's just because it leads to really awkward glitches.

The ending's different too, but beyond htat there's not much different than what you see at the surface.

Pretty much everything in A-# is broken (and I swear I said this already).

Sprite code is run twice.

There are a few other areas where, instead, the player's code is run twice instead, but for the most part, well, it just makes the game difficult

Sony.

Personally, the name on the box is the least important manner in purchasing a computer. My next one will probably be custom.
It's usually kind of important (when buying a pre-built, non custom one).

I say this because, for example, Dells are known to have extreme problems (hi, exploding laptops), eMachines are just known to suck, and so on.

I installed it earlier.

Aero is nice looking, but there's a lot of "design standards" that I really dislike their using. For one, not using the title bar on most windows (no icon either) and removing the menu.

So eh. It's a mixed bag.

Or am I retarded and this would break horrifically?
It'd probably break a lot of things, as all sprite code is run twice and a lot of in-game timers are cut short (the rugs, for example, don't last quite as long as usual).

Some other bad things are present too, like the game lagging really badly at 2-4 objects.

I just used the compressor at my mom's house, when I needed to do it.

I should really look and see how to pop this laptop open, since it could really use a good cleaning.

It's even hot here. I came home from school to an apartment that was 34C.

In 1999 my parents had this bright (not) idea to go to Vegas on vacation in the middle of August. Then they wanted to check out this new hotel/casino by walking quite a ways down the Strip in early afternoon. I think I was melting into a puddle on the sidewalk before we got there. At least they had the sense to take the bus back.
If you honestly think that's bad, try living in Vegas.
