Even the most basic of security options could at least help (such as not storing the addresses for the important shit in the same spot over and over)...
But honestly, just because cheaters aren't exactly common doesn't mean they won't be on WiFi -- you might actually get cheaters more often with this since (obviously) if you're cheating the whole fun of it is going online. Oh, one more thing. Don't forget that the whole Nintendo WiFi Connection and friend code system is utterly retarded, preventing: - Being able to report anyone for cheating (users can change names almost instantly with no penalty) - Not being able to quit when a known cheater joins (see names) - No sort of in-game "Report this player" option I've said it before and I'll say it again -- X-box Live solves all of these problems and then some. If you're finding another player is being an utter dickhead (cheating, hacking, spurting racial slurs every three seconds) you can report them freely, and many people used it (and even more outright lost subscriptions) Oh, and the real kicker? Any thread about cheaters on Nintendo's forums is instantly deleted. I was there when the start of the Tetris cheating was going on (one idiot with infinite-I pieces) and there were at least 4 threads made (and deleted)...

It doesn't just magically get shut off by the evil Sleep Fairy... and my bed was surrounded with junk, so I'm really, really doubtful I could "sleep-disable" it. Consider especially that I was woken up 30 minutes ago and I was really not in a deep sleep yet... ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Which places no extra strain on the server. Doing what you say would require rewriting most of reply.php to remove the header generation call and place it at the first chanec it could be added without breaking redirection.
Use a browser that doesn't suck ass. I am well aware of this method of redirection (ever tried clicking the mark forum read links?) However I do not see any sort of gain from doing this other than lowering the time it takes to post something, which shouldn't matter at all if you actually put effort into posting. I'm just kind of unamused by this happening (again), and god knows that in the event they find some old, crusty copy of Doom 2 they'll go ZMOGS IT WAS THE INTERNTE THAT AMDE KHIM KEEEL!!11 ..
