Yeah, we just made fun of it in IRC instead of "pots"ing about it here. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I would think that would be obvious.
Although perhaps it isn't. (Also, consider using a better thread title next time. Pasting the forum's description is worthless and tells me nothing. "Regarding the wording of RH Releases' forum description" (for example) is much more informative and useful. What would you suggest changing it to? ____________________ I dealt with it. |

The only reason IE is so hated is because it wasn't made to be very secure; hell, the only reason Firefox even is is probably because they learned from IE's mistakes.
And honestly, anyone who knows what they're doing in IE can easily fix their settings (protip: turn off ActiveX) so that this never happens. I still use IE at other places that don't have something else and I don't mind (and I usually fix their settings for them), though But besides, Opera is better on the security front, so if you're obsessive about that, just use it (There are also a lot of other things that stop Microsoft from simply "patching IE to fix things" that nobody considers. Remember that you have to be very careful when dealing with IE, as it is highly integrated into the OS -- botch one thing somewhere, and ... And just to inform you, regarding security issues: Opera's report, Firefox's report, and (for amusement) IE's report.) ____________________ I dealt with it. |

PNG is good for things like videogame screenshots or pixel work.
Your avatar falls more into the "photographic-like" category; use JPG instead. (Quality can be set to 80-90.) HyperHacker: The board stores avatars as "ava/0". No extension or anything. Hence why it sends as nothing (and also occasionally falls apart in Opera) Believe me, I want to change it. I want to go back to the older solution, where avatars were still uploaded but they actually kept their extensions and could be changed by administrators to go offsite. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

The sad thing is that Opera actually had tabbed browsing long before Firefox even existed ... it's just overlooked for some silly reason :/ ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Opera just has "Next" (replaces Forward when a) there's no forward entries and b) it's available, usable by either space at the bottom of a page or left-right rolling gesture)...
In a dir-list type area (anything Opera interprets as "list of images", doing this will cycle through each one from where you start (click one! or it'll start from the first) and move on every time you use space/l-r-roll after that. Ctrl-S, save, space, etc, up to the last image Much easier than opening thousands of tabs and hoping yu didn't miss any or clicking one, going back, clicking another one... ____________________ I dealt with it. |
