No, RAR has support on Linux at least... I still like using it often because it's nowhere near as memory hogging as 7z (7z really will freeze my computer while processing, RAR will just lag it very slightly).

That and 7z's main program doesn't support adding more files to an archive, so bah to that.

It's just a PHP script that uses a background image, pulls the data from the ROM, and then displays it...

Editing it wouldn't be very hard (just like a hex editor, really, but maybe a little simpler).

Making the track background was oddly enough the longest part of this

(The script to generate the AI path is only 59 lines, for example, and many of those are just whitespace)

Depends. There could easily be some formula that determines when it dies.

Of course, without a handy variant to test (preferrably using the same map), it's hard to determine what will make it work and what will throw it off.

Hmmm... I know there are some tracks where the computer can take 2 different paths, do your current finds include those multiple paths ? If not, they could be among the missing data...
What track will the AI branch on?

Without this I cannot go on. (I need to make a map for the track, for example)

I wouldn't be suprised if it just took the closest point and there was just some angle data otherwise to determine where to put you...

(Hell, it might even use the angle data to determine where to look for the next point, in case it gets lost..!)



(For those wondering, the lines are connected based on one check;

"Is the distance between the current point, and the previous point, greater than the current point and two points ago?"

Hence why 26-29 looks screwy. I'm sure it actually goes 26-28-29 and 25-27-29 but this won't ever determine that... )
