Because unlike threads/posts, views/hour would do nothing but waste database space and be rarely useful. Posts/threads per day is easy because it's just derived from already available data. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

That's where I liked the old (well, on 1.92) implementation; avatars were still uploaded but threads used an external URL still, so:
a- Admins/other users could still have special avatars, e.g. ones that rotated or were larger b- Uploaded avatars retained the right extension (e.g. "1.png") and didn't rely on a PHP file to determine if it existed or not c- there could be a random string appended to an uploaded avatar, or even just changing the date of the file easily (e.g. 1_04-05-2007.png), so that they'd change but would still be cached easily  ____________________ I dealt with it. |

oh god uwaaah help Taken a week ago: where's my damn desk don't throw AOL CDs at painted walls you know you want it from shit to hit in only 12 hours (what it took to clean it up or something) unfortunately my room is sorely lacking in decorations outside of various gauges and clocks but at the same time I would rather be without decor than face potential ridicule for things being on my walls.
