Is it just me, or are most of those directly nearby those rotating platforms?

In that case, the answer is, unsuprisingly, bullshit.

I never understood Daylight Savings Time. It just never made sense to me

Oh well, for a while I get to be GMT-7, I guess. But an hour will mysteriously vanish again...

TinaSitter X2 is available

It has some small updates (disabling the random cat noises, for one) and other small updates (read Tina.txt).

That's because (for compatibility and memory muscle reasons) [quote=NAME] is, well, that, but the newer quote syntax has it in quotes.

I could make a working version of both (so that [quote="xx"] would work too) but it seems pointless...

Cool, TinasitterX2! *downloads*

On a side note, I set it to load on startup
And after breaking part of it, it's working again (I hope)...

I have a new command ("Ban user"), and I can add user-specific ones... of course, you have to restart to see the changes, so those of you who have "Check PMs" that returns "unknown command" will have to try again

I also discovered another bug (link text isn't reset after a message with it, and it also tends to block out text above it... so all messages are now plastered with "mario hacker's profile" )

Seeing descriptions of things other people have gone through that are similar to yours can help

Mostly since that way, they can at least realize that it isn't as bad as someone else's or that other people can understand what they're going through, I guess.

(I'm no good with psychobabble. Can you tell?)

I don't understand the purpose of the double stone room though - seems like it would have been made for a boss or bonus room or something since it is only one screen wide
Think in terms of "what purpose it would've served early on".

As you can tell, it was very, very likely it was used to test the "block hug" feature of the fireballs.

I have a lot of ideas that I think would make nice games (really, everyone thinks that.. ), but I'll never get to do them... I don't have the time or patience to learn a language like C++ and program a full game.

It's kind of sad, mostly because I would really like to make one of them one day :/

Are there any sections of the ROM left which we do not know what the bytes are for?
Of course; new small things are always being discovered.

Someone needs to make an honest disassembly of this game, like the guys at S2B did for the Sonic games.

It reveals a lot about the game and can help determine unused things

(For example, I believe Metroid's "NARPASSWORD" was found by disassembling it...)

We have too many stickies right now, and it's been doing a good enough job floating up on its own.

And the last game I bought was Contact, and I still haven't played it

And here are some of the files, if you need them

Granted, updates will be required on occasion (Ailure fiddles with his damn GRFs too much) but past that, you should be all set.

So go ahead! No reason not to try. If it's really good, it might even encourage us to add a scheme option

(Although the way the layouts currently work would have to be tweaked a bit, methinks.)

My only problem with most of these is the graininess present in most of them (it looks like it was hit with the MS Paint spraycan on "extra large" in some areas)...

Other than that, I like them too

Kas: ... Cat pillow.

Sophie: Yeah. It's kind of a double edged sword, since AB+ can recieve all but give to only one group, but O- can give to all but recieve only one...

Now I wonder, what type most people would want to be, heh. It's an interesting idea to discuss, I believe. (Donator or recipient? Hm.)

You should read the Rad Project, or whatever it was (googling for '"rad project" magic john totally rad' might help). It's an interesting discussion about the changes between the US and JPN versions of the game.

But yeah, I'm kind of toying with an idea. I might actually try MMF or Gamemakre for it, depending on which one suits it best.

It could work, yeah. A posts:threads ratio would be interesting, too...

I'll look into making it later, if only to see how weird it really is
