We'll see.. as long as it isn't like phpMyAdmin, where the fonts are far too goddamn big with no way to change them back to "smaller"...
I think just moving the font sizes to another CSS and having it selectable in editprofile would be nice. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

An actual "bans" system that auto-lifted and managed bans would be nice, yes, and I considered implementing it on 1.9x before I lost total interest...
The rest was just a pain to do, but now it shouldn't be too hard, all you'd have to do is keep a "lastforum" field in "threads" (or even another table with moves/deletions) and show a placeholder thread if it isn't actually in that forum anymore... The thread closing thing would be easier to put in, I guess some Javascript to pop up a dialogue that says "Reason for close/move/trash: xxxxxxxx" and then have that listed in the thread somewhere... but a lot of times, when I close a thread, it's because of an obvious reason (or I post it), but still. And I'd say to rework the ban system entirely, and have a kind of "actions" table (or something) that would list why users were warned and such (mabye have a "Warn for this post" link? hmm...) that would be clearly listed in a user's profile to them and all other staff (not normal users)... and make it auto-PM someone, with the reason why they were warned/banned too. That way, "warning" would become more standardized instead of "No, you PM him, I'm lazy." ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I think "Warn for this post" would have a variety of options to choose from (including x-hour, x-day and permabans), not just warnings... but you ge tthe idea.
I think only showing the "actions taken vs. user" should only be visible to that specific user, and any staff. That way, the user knows who to PM regarding matters (and could even have a special link to fill the PM with some generic information, like "Regarding [action taken] with a quote of the post?") and can contact that person instead of wondering who it was. I wouldn't show it because there's no real reason to publicly criticize someone for a few small mistakes (warnings), but things like bans should be publicly listed albeit without an admin name. /me shrugs ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I need to do some other things too, like move it to the header area (again) and add it to the index, and change it to activate on the index and auto-header() you back to index.php with no query-string. Mostly because refreshing on it will always mark everything as read if it doesn't get rid of the query string (I did this very early on in my 1.9x development days)____________________ I dealt with it. |
