As I had said to you many times, I was willing to leave quietly and planned to after I had my things sorted out and removed from the server.
But I knew this was coming. I secretly added a bomb... if I was allowed to leave peacefully within a few days, it would have been fine and you would continue on as you were, without what has happened. I also knew blackhole89 took backups. Ailure lied to me, as well, which only served to heighten my sense of what was coming. "blackhole89 is wiling to talk", "compromise", "he doesn't want it to end this way". But it was all lies. I had prepared myself to leave. I have (somewhat) secretly been taking backups of the wiki, board, and my own personal sect. I was going to take one more before I left to have a final backup, then I would leave and take my small side-community with me. I am sorry it ended this way. I have seen retaliation from blackhole89, and his lies ("I will not override your decisions"), and more... I was an idiot to believe him. I wish you the best of luck, but I am also sure this will repeat again. Until Acmlm either has full control or closes his community, people will use him as a scapegoat to get what they want. He never voices his opinon, so you can easily convince him otherwise. As much as I know all of you are looking at me in an evil light, I can understand your opinion. I know how it feels. All I have to say, is that I am disappointed in blackhole89, and Ailure. Ailure using constant threats to try to make me co-operate and not leave, blackhole89 going behind my back to do this... I am leaving this community. You have made it overwhelmingly known that your staff, your new member base will not tolerate me. I will take who I have on my side and leave. Those of you who are interested may join irc.acmlm.org #x for updates, because my current side community here was destroyed just as I destroyed yours. So, for those of you who are tl;dr's: Good luck with your new board, and most of all, welcome your new overlords. It's been a good six years. Posted by KlesIt is my way of attempting to gaurentee that I will have enough time to leave peacefully. The idea is that, if both sides are peaceful, both sides will come out fine. But with this, if you attack, I can attack back. I did not enjoy doing it. I held myself back from blowing it up immediately and leaving, because I wanted peace. But it just goes to show you that no matter how you try, you can never have peace. Nothing works. I have said my opinion. I am done with the community. I don't want to see it get run into the ground like the second board was, by too many staff and other horrible mistakes that were made. The community has been falling, yes, but it always has been. Acmlm got angry because I fiddled with Millybot, from what I can tell.
The man does not speak his feelings. You have to annoy him enough that you put a dent in his RO time before he responds... and when he does, he usually agrees with whatever you say just to get you to leave him alone. It's not a nice opinion, but over the years, it's the one I've formed... and it fits him rather well, sadly. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

If any of you really miss your precious posts that were erased in the 24-hour reverson, you can find about half of them here (up/down sporadically)
blackhole89 missed my more recent backups (pity, they were in plain sight right in the damn home folder) and used his, so there you go. You can (er, should) be able to log in if you lost any recent PMs, as well. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Stifu, you are missing the point. For SGraff, it will not just be "turning it grayscale", but using grayscale to its full effect -- allowing him to implement more detail in the graphics and things.
I saw a hack of Shinobi that used this same principle... the "before" and "after" shots clearly demonstrated a massive graphical improvement. Sometimes limiting yourself can prove to create better things. I would wait for what he has to show before pushing this off as "nothing" and "useless". ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I personally liked it being on a seperate page.... I've seen how other boards do it, but they usually have a wide array of "things" for each post (subjects, icons, etc).
That, and without more work, it would automatically mark any edited thread as having edited the first post. ____________________ I dealt with it. |
