You can't use the words "Majority" and "Pay for music" in the same sentence.
Sure you can, as long as you include "don't" in that list.

The interface in ZSNES isn't that easy to use with a keyboard.

So the extra 20GB adds $100 now..?

Meh, I hear it also has horribly decreased compatibility as well, which is no good.

*180427ยป Closing Link: ip72-193-41-219.lv.lv.cox.net laptuna (Killed (OperServ (You are banned from this network: You're rude and obnoxious. You can take a break from EsperNet for five days. To contact EsperNet visit http://www.esper.net/contact.html)))

I had joined #dragonwhatever to ask about why MB was banned on a server that allows bots without reason. I wasted an hour waiting and eventually left with a sarcastic message. Anyway...

Needless to say after this (and Millybot: see quote below) ... I'm pretty much ready to leave.

Currently considering a) EmuNET all over again, b) Deltaanime, or c) Djbouche's.

a) EmuNET: I'm not sure about the longtime stability of it. We'd probably be able to customize it somewhat (I'd hope, with Emuz on it), but I'm not sure if it'd last, and there'd be no users but us.

b) DeltaAnime: I just don't like this network in general. To stay connected I have to constnatly ping myself, as well as a general distaste for the network in general.

c) DjBouche: I also dislike the bot names here (japanese instead of just "ChanServ"/"NickServ"), and the stability of it also worries me (but not nearly as much).

Shrug. Opinions?

Oh, and:

No, we do not discuss ANYTHING with third parties. If you don't like our policies, use another IRC network.

I got this when asking about why MillyBot was banned:

Ban message:

No bots on democles

Site:

Democles.esper.net: Bots: Friendly bots allowed

But aparrently they don't like people calling them out.

Needless to say, I'm ready to move.

From what I hear about initialized now (from Hydrapheetz)... I'm not trusting that one either

In the short time I've been there I've already been force-joined to some crap channel...

One thing I was thinking was it just being (for now) two servers, maybe yours and blackhole89's (if he's up for it), just with different IRCops (blackhole89, me) handling the user side of things...

That way you would be relaxed to just network maintainence if you wanted. I just don't want a massive network explosion (here's 7 nodes for 56 users, we'd all better get IRCop status too) like last time and we can keep the IRCop status undre control; two should be omre than enough, especially if it's bh89 and I since we're ususally on at opposite times.

I'd just rather not approve anyone who has a server to join the network unless it's needed... before, like I said, we had probably 4-7 nodes and many, many IRCops, which was far too much for the small network we ran.

If you were considering leaving #rom-hacking, this is a good excuse.

We'd also need the ports you can connect on, otherwise it's useless to just say "not 6667" -- who says they don't block many others?

Also, on ething about being on our own network, is that we have our own rules; for exapmle you can bring on any bot without having to worry about breaking some arbitrary rule (like here).

I don't see why everyone thinks it's me Just because I happen to like Card Captor Sakura, someone who uses that name is me?

While I admit that it was a bit weird (her registration flagged 1 hash match, but ~md5ing afterwards returned nothing), if it was my password it would've hit 5 others (or at least 2 here).

But after all that, hello and welcome

Mine (well, my bot's):

on 1:START:{
/timestamp -f 11HH12nn02ss>
/server irc.esper.net
}
on 1:CONNECT:{
if ( esper.net isin $server ) {
/tnick Tina_
/tnick Tina
/id
/join #rohmacking
/join #x
/set %ch #x

; /startbot
/timer 0 1 /testsock
}
}
Granted, I have more blocks in my "real" client, but this gives you an idea of what it is. The /timestamp command sets my color timestamp automatically, so that I don't have to manually fix it.

If you mean my sample code tag, it's just because defining something as 11px was a constant for me (not to big, not too small) and it was just a test because I didn't feel like fucking with %s and ems to get the right size.

Signatures are in <small> tags because.... well, what did you expect me to use? <span class="tiny">? <small> just fits better.

I'm honestly suprised they don't just offer plain, no-bullshit phones for full price without a contract. I'd much rather have one of those than a ginormous 23000000-color TFT superbright 7" display screen with a toasterized 1337-megapixel camera and MP3 player jazz.

I mean, I'd rather be able to just pay the $50 or whatever it is for a plain phone than get a swiss army cell phone for $20*.

Odd, I haven't even heard of a normal phone being sold in forever (other than dumb prepaid ones) and considerable amounts of my family works at Sprint.

Then again, that might also be why they don't have any normal phones
