Is it going to be less psychotically hard for those of us mere mortals compared to Parallel Worlds? |

Posted by blackhole89 Having used a 1920x1200 and a 1920x1080 24" monitor side-by-side, the difference is minimal at best in terms of screen real estate. Of course, the 16:10 monitor was an Apple iMac screen (which are LEDs instead of LCDs). Just go with whatever feels comfortable. |

Yeah, it was probably irrelevant to the discussion but LED backlighting sure is pretty. |

I am impressed by the very, very clean art style.
While I don't have the means to play it short of stealing from my sister, congratulations on making the foreground distinguishable from the pretty background elements. It does remind me of Bit.Trip.Runner a lot though |

Almost done on a customisable animation settings thingy for AW2. I put together a few silly examples |

The most important question of course is:
Did Han shoot first? |

Posted by SePHPosted by XenesisYou can count on that. The mere purpose of this hack is to make it as enjoyable and interesting as possible for those who played PW and found it too much tedious. I may even say it's going to be as easy as the original Zelda 3. Those who managed to finish Parallel Worlds will find the sequel to be a walk in the park in comparison! I'm pretty sure you won't need to know all the glitches and tricks that Parallel Worlds required you to do in several dungeons (for exemple bomb jumping etc..). That's good to hear. Parallel Worlds was absolutely amazing looking (and had a stupendous amount of work put into it by appearances) but the difficulty really turned me off from playing it much. Bomb Jumping is pretty benign though, both Ganon's Tower and Temple of Four Swords used it in the original. Admittedly the first was just for a fairy room. All the best with this then. Should give the demo a whirl, eh? |

About half of my Wii and DS collection are of imported games.
Heck, some publishers here flip-flop between using Eu and US copies of their games here. Importing games doesn't just mean that they're in Japanese. |

Sure.
If you're in the US that's probably the case. On the other hand those of us outside also have to deal with crippling delays for everything but the most major titles (Most games in the GCN era were delayed 6 months to TWO YEARS) and being charged double US RRP for the privilege. |

I'm working on a new War Room Hack for AW2. Features maps by me, a bunch of other people.
Will have some silliness when it is done |

Hee hee. Still working away at this. All maps are in, working on code changes and other silly things. Will need to do some difficulty testing to set time limits and opponents Next: Unit lists and CO Changes! *gasp* Edit: For silliness, the rest was requested. |

Considering the War Room has no Fog of War, I thought I'd do it this way. Von Bolt still needs a palette and probably some sprite adjustments. Progress! |
