Last view: 4316 days 		I use cheats a lot, I'll admit it. Mostly because I'm not that good at single player games. I was pretty good at TF2 for a while, but even then I tended to die fast (or maybe because I was a medic. They always shoot the medic first).

I also seem to be rather ghostly - I get stuck in walls a lot. Noclip is my friend these days...

Knytt stories is a free platformer with the ability to create your own levels - its simplicity is where it shines.

The game itself can be downloaded here.

Some good levels can be found here. (I would reccomend some levels, but I'm a little sick right now.)

There's no kill like overkill

Considering that this weapon would probably (at least!) reduce the person's entire body to the consistency of chunky salsa, if not disintegrate them, I think overkill is an understatement.

#2: NyQuil. My face resembled someone downing a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster.
#3: 'Cherry'-flavored liquid cough syrup. Believe it or not, this tasted WORSE than the perscription cough meds I got later (for bacterial pneumonia, which is not fun at all).

So, Sonic Team America, you want to leave the franchise behind?

Alright, then, here's an idea: go out in a blaze of glory, and make the first M-rated Sonic the Hedgehog game.

- First off: the protagonists need to be older. Cut the cute crap with Tails: if Shadow the Hedgehog is cannon, he went through a WAR. War is hell. Give his mind a few years to think through it all, and you've got someone who's lost every last bit of innocence in them; someone who might just become a bit unhinged if one of his good friends died...

- Kill off one of the good characters. Take Max Payne as an example for the main character: dark, slightly unhinged, willing to kill to get to the bottom of things.

- Don't overdo it (the infamous 'where's that damn forth chaos emerald?', anyone?), but make sure that the less-than-squeaky-clean characters throw the f-bomb around a little (EX: Sonic comments on Tails' violent actions, and Tails tells him to fuck off).

- Camera. Ditch this horrible 'follow the action not the player' camera for an over-the-shoulder view.

- Guns are good. FPS games are good. 16-year-old Tails with a pair of Berettas: awesome, if done right.

- Violence. No more 'oof that hurt'; gunshot wounds cause bleeding, a shot to an unarmored target's chest with a shotgun = chunks of flesh blown off, etc. If you really want to take it to an extreme, include dismemberment (shotgun shell to the head at close range = not much head left).

- We are not going to play as Sonic. Admit it, he's too much of a good guy to make this work. If the previous bits work out, Tails will be out to kill someone. There's your player character.

- If possible, add a total genre shift to First- or Third-person-shooter gameplay.

- Give us a chance to KILL one of the major bad guys. It doesn't have to be Eggman, but someone's gonna die.

Last view: 4316 days 		KeyTweak: A tool to change the key assignments for your keyboard. Useful if the manufacturer did something stupid with your keyboard (IE requires both shift and function (Fn) keys to be pressed to access Insert) or you just find something cumbersome.
