I had a weird thing with this boss. I played through the whole thing only to realize that I could shoot the targets without navigating at all through the boss.



In fact, you could probably do the same thing, but opposite. A ghostly boss that disappears as you grow closer, and stops moving abruptly.



good idea, that'd definitely be interesting. and for the problem with the targets, I'd suggest making them disappear unless you get close, like everything else, just make everything have 999999 durability so it doesn't kill itself.

alternatively, there's barriers, which you can have turn on or off depending on your distance

I can't exactly say one way or the other. Most of the games I've played emulated, I never played in their original form. My first gaming system was a PS1, so I've not had a ton of experience with games systems earlier then that. I have played them, but not much
