Hi, I am Jeffrey, I am 27 years old, from the Netherlands, and a friend of Kawa. He has a a habit to refer to me as "Chief", because he thinks I look like STTNG Chief O'Brien.
I am not a rom hacker, but I have a lot of computer knowledge, especially about hardware. I started programming on an MSX2 when I was 8 and 2 years later I got my very own Commodore 64, man those were the days... nowadays I have a PC which I like to mod a lot. I also like playing the Wii, and emulating older game consoles on my PC. In my spare time I like making psychedelic art and fractals, if you want to see it check my deviantART, the URL is in my profile. I am not sure if I will post a lot but we will see. |

Posted by Grey Mario Who might that be? I guess you mean Jessica Elwood? My favorite artist is Meawsy, but she makes anthro, not furry. |

Thanks to coding help from Kawa, I got an improved version of my old ProtoBoard post layout here. I still have to upload an avatar though.
It would be nice if we could also have minipics here, like there were on Protoboard (small icons in front of someone's name), is that possible? |

Posted by instrince I wish you had been more specific than that. Nobody on ProtoBoard ever complained. Anyway, I asked some people what you could mean, and they said the frame borders might be too bright and trippy. So I will change that now to a less bright frame in Commodore 64 colours. |

Posted by blackhole89 True, true, I don't really like the sharp edges of that tiling either... Since there is also a weird cat right outside the frame, I think I will make another background tile, and for now remove the current one. |

Posted by knuck I am using the quote feature now, I find it quite handy. I find the RPG system useless. If the Online Users feature is removed then this will cause the minipics to be useless as well. |

Posted by knuckPosted by SlimesmileI'm sorry to know you didn't notice my post was pure sarcasm was pointing out the current coder's (ok I'll be honest, every coder other than acmlm used those excuses) unwillingness to add any new features on the basis that it'd be "bloat" or "useless". I believe minipics are part of acmlmboards as much as post layouts are, however it's quite obvious that acmlmboards have lost their identity already. I see. It's true I am often too naive to see if someone is trolling. |

Posted by instrince Who, me? I just think all those "useless" images and post layouts are what makes Acmlm boards unique, and a real place of happiness compared to boring PHPbb and vBulletin boards. |

Posted by Kawa And I am not voting for Britney even if she would suck my cock. If I used my brain I would vote for U2, but I lolled so much that Rick was nominated I just had to vote for him. (Sorry for editing my post so much, I lolled so much I had some trouble noticing the Preview button). |

Even a complete code rewrite would just make it a 2.0 version.
In my opinion it is the style that makes this an Acmlm board. |

Who are your favorite video game composers of the past and present decades?
I expect there are a lot of Koji Kondo and Nobuo Uematsu fans here? My list is as follows: 80's - Rob Hubbard (Populous, International Karate, Commando) 90's - Alexander Brandon (Jazz Jackrabbit 2, Unreal, Deus Ex) 00's - Hideki Naganuma (Jet Set Radio, Sonic Rush) |

1. Zelda, absolutely. That game really got me shaking when I was 10. One of the few games ever that really caught me into it emotionally. Everything (story, gameplay, graphics, music) in that game was excellent.
2. Chrono Trigger. 3. You will probably hate me for it but I really like The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers game. I would have also nominated Syndicate if the PC version was not so much better. Edit: Super Mario Kart on 4, since it is the best Mario Kart game ever made. |

I like the SNES Mario Kart best because it was really about racing.
Later Mario Kart games are too much "avoid the obstacles and try not to get shot". |

Posted by Mike Fireball Super Metroid, that would be my number 5. OK, a top 5 is enough. My top 5 summarized: 1. Zelda LTTP 2. Chrono Trigger 3. MM Power Rangers 4. Super Mario Kart 5. Super Metroid |

Posted by Mike Fireball It's a fighting platformer like Double Dragon, but better. I also like the music, and the enemies and transformations look cool. Action games like this were too rare on the SNES. And no, I never was a fan of the TV series. Some episodes were decent. And I like the Pink Ranger <3 |

Sure, MMPR is not epic, not a true classic, does not feature Miyamoto characters, and has probably not sold millions of copies. But I do not care about image or status.
I play games because I want to have fun. And MMPR gave me a lot of fun back in the days. |
