I have difficulty with secret bases, as I need to find more people to steal flags from.

Since the subject came up, I found the E4 + Champion to be somewhat challenging. I was about 10 levels underleveled, but it was fun. Highlight of the entire ordeal was almost totally out-tanking Garchomp with my Torterra. Get a few Curses in there, and you take almost no damage from it. I'd say be happy you caught it in a Premier Ball. If you have no intention to use it for competitive battling, then you have no reason to go back for better nature/stats. As for the little descriptiveness on every pokémon, it's probably just flavor text. Really, until Belugas gets NewIndustries implemented, I'm not going to get back into OTTD much. Although much of what has been done this week seems worthwhile, NewIndustries is the big one that I'm looking forward to.
And unless I can get confirmation that Aircraft Restrictions have been lifted, I have no intention of re-joining any new Acmlmboard servers. 2 Days Ago: Left a Level 20 Shieldon up on GTS, asking for any level Azelf. Yesterday: Trade completed by English speaker named PATRICK. Left a Level 20 Aerodactyl up on GTS, asking for any level Uxie. Today: Trade completed by English speaker named MIKE. Left a Level 20 Lileep up on GTS, asking for any level Dialga. I expect an answer by tomorrow. I originally thought it was only the Japanese that were crazy... apparently, so is everyone else... Moral of the story? Actually, I did a search for Magikarp on GTS just for the heck of it, and found seven people all offering like level 1 Magikarp wanting legendaries and other such shite. But people are stupid enough, so I wouldn't put it past them to do it. The only thing I've found that doesn't get taken up is Unown. It's basically impossible to unload an Unown onto anybody... I knew he was wrong, but I was too lazy to point it out. Also, I don't feel he would have understood the explanation well enough to warrant typing one out.
Update: Apparently, this "flavor text" is actually an indicator of which stat IV is highest. Info is at a premium right now, and no one knows for sure what causes which phrases to pop up, but according to Smogon, "Alert to sounds" is one of the highest ranking phrases for Speed. Due to the Nature (Adamant increases Attack by 10%), and the training in Attack EVs Alastor put into it, it makes sense that Attack could be higher, even though Medicham's Base Attack is 20 points lower than Base Speed. Chances are, His Speed IV is 30 or 31, and Attack is 30 or slightly lower. Talking to the rock is not needed. Just leveling up in the appropriate areas is enough. For a Pokémon fan, you're completely clueless NightKev. This site I recommend, as it's faster than Serebii, and more informative than Smogon (sans forums). Plus, he's actually going to update it, which is something he hadn't really done in years. Along the left side of that page is a link to Pokémon Profiles. Click that. Go through each generation, you'll find all the new pokémon (you'll know them, as they are the one's you probably don't recognize). Have fun. You guys know that all the original cast from SSBM is returning for this game, right? It was even mentioned on the official website some time ago. I believe the quote was that "none of the original characters are to be touched!", meaning they are all returning intact for this game. This just means that all we need to watch for are the genuinely new characters, six of which have been confirmed. Any more talk of who else will possibly be included is wild speculation. I'm not saying that Sonic definitely won't be included, just that the chances are low due entirely to the other game he's starring in with Mario.
And plus, I don't see Sonic being included by himself, anyways. Seems to me that it would have to be a package deal, including at least Tails and Knuckles, and (maybe.. probably not) Shadow. That statement is a little contrary to what was said on the official site, so I'm more inclined to believe what I read back then...
And tyty210, that game is the reason I do not believe Sonic will be in it. Bad for Nintendo. They market that game with the angle that it's the first game starring both characters. Since Brawl is going to be released before the Olympics, this would take away the novelty of the game, since Sonic would be in another game with Mario. Then the Olympics game would not sell as well. I highly doubt he didn't know that. Notice he doesn't need Riolu. That means he's most likely hatched the egg already, but doesn't want to bother with it because it's a happiness evolution during the day, and doesn't have the time/is too lazy to actually evolve his own.
